    Leyton Orient - Wednesday

A winnable game. Would be nice to see some decent home form before the end of the season. If for no other reason we don't want to go into next season still with 'can't win at home' hanging over us.

    Next 5 games

I'd be more than happy with mid table and possibly sneaking into the top half. Mowbray needs to sort out the problem of us not being able to win at home, do that and finish mid table and he'll have done very well in my opinion.

Tactical genius Mowbray making the substitution! Burge can waste as much time as he likes now. Big 3 points if we can see this through, shame I'm never confident of us winning when we're ahead.

Relying on this thread for updates as I can't get any wifi or good enough phone reception to get the commentary so try and be a bit cheerful!

    The point is?

In a worse case scenario of the club collapsing after the window shuts would the PFA cover wages until the end of the season?

A new stadium and some searching questions

The key word there is guess. What's the point of guessing, educated or otherwise? If, and as we all know it's a very big if, things ever start to move forward then we can asses the options. If energy is going to be expended on anything regarding a new stadium would it not be better to push Tim...

A new stadium and some searching questions

Indeed and that is the worry. As much damage as SISU have done to the club by selling the stadium to Wasps CCC may well have consigned us to lower league football for years to come.

A new stadium and some searching questions

You can't say it's the most financially viable option without knowing any figures for a new stadium! What we do know is that the current rental deal, which don't forget is short term, allows us to be competitive at this level. So we could stay at the Ricoh if we are happy being a L1 side and...

A new stadium and some searching questions

Until we get some details on how Fantasy Land will be funded its hard to form an opinion. To use extreme figures a stadium costing £10m entirely funded by the club is a worse proposition than a £200m stadium where £195m is being raised by leasing out other parts of the site (like the Tesco deal...

Mowbray already planning for next season- SP took the database.

Unless we are working a very different way to the rest of the FL there's 2 main databases that are used, one called Wyscout and another similar product who's name escapes me at the moment. They are both subscription based services so its not hard for the club to sign up. I therefore assume they...

    Waggot - what's the point

Surely even we can afford a subscription to Wyscout?

peterbourgh why the £ 3 increase

I think the issue is that POG is £3 more when its not been possible to buy tickets for several days before the game.

    No scouts

A lot of lower league clubs have little to no scouting these days. Most of it is done online, there's 2 databases clubs can subscribe to that have all the player details uploaded and match footage available. Means scouting can be done without the need to send people all over the place. Once they...

    Orient

If they're on the pitch again it's going to end up in a right state. If they aren't why can't the game be played at the same time?

    Top Gear

How did he own half of Top Gear? It was going for years before he was a presenter wasn't it? At the best of times you can't go round punching people at work. Even more so when you're on a final warning for all problems in recent months with racism etc. It's quite frustrating that with all the...
