    Latest PSB bulletin

Doesn't read like that to me, it reads as if they are presenting PSB as a fans representative group.

    No this isn't a joke

Would depend what % of the crowd go through Tesco and what the rent would be against what they pay now. Its an option certainly and maybe a suitable question to be raised at the SCG.

    Alternative to a New Stadium

You know things are desperate when we're rehashing ideas Bryan Richardson came up with! It sounds great as a post on a forum but what we're really saying is open a successful business, in an area no employee of the club has any expertise in, and make enough money to offset any negative impact...

    Latest PSB bulletin

Just what we need, more shit stirring. Had to laugh at this "A man who seems to think he speaks on behalf of Sky Blues fans despite having no such mandate." from a piece written by an annoymous group with no mandate from the fans!

    Samuel out for the season

Its never good news on a Thursday.

    No this isn't a joke

I enquired, and its not a definitive answer as you'd probably need to speak to Fisher not someone working a matchday, but I was told Wasps won't allow us a permanent retail space and want a big chunk of change for us to keep anything in storage up there.

    No this isn't a joke

Been like that since we've been back hasn't it? They've certainly been operating from a table whenever I've been there this season.

Back to the Bad old Days in Coventry

My regular Saturday run was starting at the Golden Cross and working down to spend the night in the Campbell. We're talking late 80s early 90s here and I can't remember there ever being much, if any, trouble.

Coventry City FC hold stadium talks with Rugby Borough Council

I would say anything from 60 acres down. When talking about 60 acres it involved retail and moving the academy and training facilities. I suspect there will still be a view to move the academy so as not to be reliant on Higgs however moving out of Ryton has most likely become less attractive...

    Rugby: Would you go?

Who's saying the club would own the stadium? Not even Fisher is saying that. It would be owned by a prop co and that is as it should be. They key would be the relationship between the prop co and the company that is he football club. We know staying at the Ricoh doesn't work if we want to play...

    Rugby: Would you go?

Is infrastructure that much of an issue? Look at some of the other grounds we can't to, they don't seem to have much infrastructure but manage to work around it. In an ideal world it would have a major road, thousands of parking spaces, constant flow of buses and trains but that's unlikely isn't it?

    Reda injury sweepstake

He's playing for the U21s today. Can he get through it without picking up an injury?

Coventry City FC hold stadium talks with Rugby Borough Council

If you take the emotional connection out of it you can sort of see what they have done. Ranson was the one that came up with the idea so he was placed in charge of executing it. When he walked they brought in Delieu who was most likely the only other football person they knew from when they...

    Burge (and the loans)

SP put the squad together. Mowbray will get some slack as he's having to work with the squad already here. Plus he doesn't come out after the game and talk about how terrific the performance was.

To help the atmosphere at the Ricoh

Don't think we'll ever move forward if we try and work around what's already there. Need to just start from scratch, people will have a moan but then they'll all move somewhere else and make the same noise.

To help the atmosphere at the Ricoh

They should just start with a blank stadium plan. Forget who sits where at the moment and come up with the best way forward. We saw this season people whinge and moan when they try and change things so they reverse the decision and we end up with banks of empty sits in the area people were...

    Rugby: Would you go?

More a theoretical question than suggesting it will happen. Point being boundaries get altered yet people are treating them as some sort of unbreachable line.

Coventry City FC hold stadium talks with Rugby Borough Council

And that I suspect is the root of the problem. Ranson sold them an investment, put x amount in and get a return of y. It didn't work. At that point they should have walked but for some reason they stuck around and in came Orange Ken. Ranson was far from great but I think its the point at which...

To help the atmosphere at the Ricoh

There's two problems with that. Firstly we've seen in the past that dropping prices doesn't see a corresponding rise in attendance. Secondly ticket revenue is our major source of income, how will the club afford to take a big hit on that? I would be surprised if we get 50% of revenues, I...

    Rugby: Would you go?

Would prefer it to be in Coventry but where would they build it. Matton has already said there's no suitable sites in the city. Would need to see the exact location but the area covered by RBC covers land very close to the city. If we're talking just over the boundary like Ansty, the airport or...
