    Migrants crossing from Europe

What’s normally? Our government doesn’t offer them a legitimate route to claim asylum here except for the odd exception like the recent withdrawal from Afghanistan. The only way they can claim asylum is to be here, there really is only one option to the people arriving by boat and that’s arrive...

He fantasised about a potential figure of 1000 a day arriving by boat and multiplied it by 3 because I pointed out that we take about a third of of what France takes in in terms of asylum seekers/refugees. He’s basically come up with a fictitious number based on his own imagination.

We don’t even take in a third of what France does. Not sure how that line’s up with your assumptions that France is doing nothing to curb it or that we’re seen as a soft option.

Not enough people have got the vaccine. It’s as simple as that. We’re no where near the percentage of population required for herd immunity which leaves us all vulnerable regardless of whether you’ve had the vaccine or not. The next driver is going to be people who let their vaccine...

Depends. Has the guy who hasn’t been vaccinated but tested 48 hours ago been in isolation from the point of the test until they sat next to you? If not it’s the guy who hasn’t been vaccinated. The only thing he can prove is that he didn’t have it 48 hours ago and he’s more at risk to catching it...

You should look up the medical dictionary definition of vaccine. It’s working exactly as a vaccine is designed to. A vaccines purpose is to prepare your immune system for a virus. Some people will receive immunity from it but the majority will still get it, some will never know they had it...
