    Death List 2021

He came with quite a big reputation from his time at Hull but he never really looked the part with us. He did put in a memorable performance in a memorable match against the great Leeds team of the era. We won that game 3-0 and looked like a team of world beaters on the day. Unfortunately that...

    Three years a go today

One of my sons can remember a little bit of our time in the top flight, the other one who is a City fan (I've 2 other sons who don't like football) only started going after relegation. After years of failure and dross (even the checkatrade was quickly followed by relegation) this was the first...

    Ryan Giles

Thought he signed a 5 year contract?
  4. Irish Sky Blue

    Liam Walsh

I like James but if it was a choice between him and Walsh I would much sooner go for the latter. He was tremendous in our promotion season, probably the player who contributed most to us going up and I would be amazed if someone of his talent couldn't compete in this league, even after a year out.

    Former sky blues supporters club

I played Sunday football for the Supporters Club, first when it was based under the Sky Blue Stand in Thackall Street and then when it moved to Freehold Street. After games on a Sunday (home games on a lovely pitch at Shilton) and after training on a Thursday most players would go back to the...

    Max

Gary Bannister was a good player, as Biamou has been for the levels he has played at.

    Baka departs

    Ahh fair enough

    Baka departs

I thought Stephen Hughes always gave his best and even Kyle I think cared but just wasn't very good (for us at least). Bellamy I think had a terrible attitude to our club and the players at the time.He deserved the stick he got.

    Manager of the Month

Maybe we made them look less interested.

    2 Year extension with BoyleSport

If the money is used in that way then fair enough. The big reason why football clubs have so many financial difficulties, as far as I can see, is because of the daft wages that they pay their players. I think if football imploded financially, that wouldn't be the end, clubs would start up again...

    Millwall (H) Saturday 8th May, 12:30pm

He wants to win and finish as high as we can. I agree with him.

    2 Year extension with BoyleSport

I'm not sure it would. It just seems that whatever money comes into the game it very quickly leaves again in the pockets of the players and their agents.

Relegation final stretch , who will stay up

Just realised this isn’t correct. Derby win or draw would still send them down.

Relegation final stretch , who will stay up

If Rotherham win one of their two games and lose the other, the only result that would send them down would be a Derby, Wednesday draw unless the game they lose they concede heavily. I could see them winning one of their games against Luton or Cardiff.

    Peterborough

I think 'the cult' are the same few people who delight in never seeing anything good in one of our own players, who will bring up his name at every available opportunity just to sneer both at him and anyone else who has a differing opinion. To them, Oggy must be one of 'the cult', presumably...

    Peterborough

I like Gyokores but yesterday he missed in a one on one situation with the keeper. Biamou would have been ripped apart for that. You are generally really positive about the manager, team and players but with Biamou you seem to be a zealot almost in the mold of one or two others on here, can...

    The shushing Shipley

By bringing him on yesterday, it doesn't look like Robins has given up on him. The substitution changed the game too, we looked much better all around in that second half. Did Shipley have no part in that?

    Come on Barnsley

Of the games we played against, Brentford, Bournemouth and Swansea , I would say that Bournemouth were the best and Swansea easily the worst. We should have beat them at St Andrews and matched them away despite losing 1-0. I think that Swansea, along with Cardiff are the most cynical of teams in...

    How are new songs adopted?

I thought that the chant at Tottenham in the FA Cup, when we were losing 3-0, having lost earlier in the season in the League Cup to Arsenal was pretty quick and showed self deprecating humour. 'How shit must you be, Arsenal scored 6' In the same game at half time when Gary Mabbutt came onto the...

    Taxi cancelled for Robins

The move to Birmingham resulted in our attendances being less than a third of what we might have had, had we played and won promotion at the Ricoh. This meant the team playing in a stadium with only two stands open, both less than full and with only one of them containing City fans. Would this...
