    Crewe ticket sales

Because we're only getting 8K there and the more of the ground the open up the more staff they need and the more it costs at a guess.

have you allowed for parts of the ground being closed off?

    Pay Monthly Season Ticket

If they don't offer credit people could always get a 0% interest credit card, stick it on there and pay it off over a few months.

    Pay Monthly Season Ticket

ACL / Wasps apparently, think it was at one of the SCG meetings. Said they didn't have access to it this year and it would have taken to long to order the cards when we returned unexpectedly anyway hence paper tickets were being used. Also said they were hoping to have further discussions with...

    Pay Monthly Season Ticket

We had this, it was called FlexCard. I've still got mine. They binned it, along with the cashless payment thing, as everyone kept moaning about it! From what I understand we can't use it now as it's an ACL owned system and they aren't giving us access to it.

Season ticket sales drive from SISU

You'd still be selling a club that would be millions, if not tens of millions in debt. You'd get a £1 and most likely have to write of a good chunk of the debt.

What's your Match Day Costs ?

Unfortunately not, I'm working in London this weekend. I planned which weekends I'd work when we were at Sixfields so I've not managed to get to a lot of home games this year. Thanks for the offer anyway.

    Advertising

There seems to be a bit of an upturn recently. Saw something on facebook about kids parties on a matchday as well. Wonder if they've got someone new in marketing or given them a kick. Either that or the PR firm they hired have got involved.

Wasps in talks to takeover Ricoh

So for example the other side of the motorway from the Ricoh or Warwick Uni or Ansty Park would all be considerably harder to get to than the Ricoh? Don't buy that for a minute. If people don't go to a new ground, if there ever is one, that won't be the reason. It might be used as an excuse like...

Wasps in talks to takeover Ricoh

They might have first been talking to ACL about using the Ricoh for European games. I believe their ground at Wycombe didn't meet the requirements for those. Wouldn't surprise me if that's all they were interested in and then the idea of buying ACL was put to them.

    Pay Monthly Season Ticket

It was mentioned somewhere, think it might have been the SCG, that the electronic system is Wasps and at present CCFC are not being given access to it. They were hoping they could make arrangements to use it next season but I haven't heard anything since. The problem with the old electronic...

    Pay Monthly Season Ticket

Wouldn't have throught. At most you'd only ever be unpaid for one or two games I would have thought so shouldn't be a problem not having a credit license. Something for the SCG to suggest at the next meeting if the club say they don't have a monthly payment plan.

Wasps in talks to takeover Ricoh

You could make the opposite argument. If SISU believed ACL was a company in trouble (and it would now seem they may well have been correct) would it not have been better to stay at Sixfields and wait for Wasps to fail? An argument against Sixfields was that CCC had deep pockets and could prop up...

The money in the premier league

There's definitely an argument that if you've got 20K empty seats you're charging too much. The problem is dropping the prices doesn't seem to ever cause a decent increase in attendance, certainly not enough to offset the lost revenue. And of course we're in a position where if there's twice as...

The money in the premier league

We all know football is an expensive day out and that tickets should be cheaper but is there not a potential banana skin here? The PL teams can use their TV money to reduce prices but won't that impact on the lower leagues? If you can get a PL ticket for £20 more people will view our prices as...

Wasps owner Derek Richardson explains Coventry move and rejects "franchise" tag

Not really, any enquiries about anything to do with the deal are met with 'confidential'. If you look at that CT piece that's not a quote so where have CT sourced that information from, its certainly not been made public by CCC. And of course if that £1m was not, as some guessed, a payment for...

Wasps in talks to takeover Ricoh

Not for a second but what I can imagine is someone in Wasps PR machine (you know, the one they say doesn't exist) thinking it might not look good if Wasps buy the Ricoh on the cheap, causing CCC and Higgs to lose millions, while the football club is playing in Northampton and there's 10,000...

Wasps owner Derek Richardson explains Coventry move and rejects "franchise" tag

Isn't that CT piece about the accounts before they took over ACL? How does that show they paid £1m off the loan or is it CT guesswork? Is there anything from the council that actually confirms the change of terms to the loan and any down payment?
