You do have to wonder what is behind it. Maybe it is something like that. Early in the season we had a very young squad who were really hungry and up for it and seemed to have a bit of an 'all in it together' kind of attitude. As we've added experience to the squad we've got worse.

Irrespective of his performances Murphy appeared to be injured at the weekend. There's been no mention of that and he's in the starting line up again. Would have been tempted to at least drop him to the bench.

Would have been a good idea for the council to follow their own guidelines on asset disposal and ensure it was properly marketed and widely advertised in that case. That way they could maximise the chance of multiple bidders and therefore obtain a better return for the taxpayer.

Would that not be because most people would not expect the cities own council to sell the stadium to a rugby club from London? Especially as they took every opportunity they could in local media to tell everyone how wrong it was for a club to be playing outside their home city.

Good to see them doing things like this.

Of course this highlights a problem with football in general not just CCFC. The authorities really need to get a grip with the finances and make sure all clubs are self sustaining.
