One single significant event that shaped our season .......

A co-operation agreement isn't the same thing as signing a contract. I don't see any evidence to suggest there has been any change to the rental deal that was in place prior to SISU's arrival, haven't seen anything in the accounts to suggest the rent had been lowered. In fact PWKH was very...

Club aims to raise £35m from bond

You must have that wrong Rusty ;) After all Richardson is a huge Wasps fan and definitely not interested in the money. And we've been told ACL is hugely profitable with massive increases in business so clearly they won't need money to cover losses by ACL and Wasps. What seems odd is Wasps must...

Club aims to raise £35m from bond

From what I was told they're a bit of a laughing stock at the moment but I would think bonds would be covered by regulations so they will need to back up what they have said. Fuel for another JR and / or investigation from the charity commission? Would it not follow if Wasps statements are true...

Club aims to raise £35m from bond

well if it's guaranteed then at some point you get your initial stake returned so at some point Wasps will need to generate profit of £35m to cover that over the term of the bond. If they don't have it they will need to either raise money on what they offered as security or ownership would pass...

One single significant event that shaped our season .......

that doesn't make much sense does it? Why would you need a cooperation agreement if their was an existing contract in place? Implies either the rental agreement was ripped up and a new one entered into by SISU or that it relates to a different contract. Care to provide us with further details...

Club aims to raise £35m from bond

That ties in with what I was told although I haven't seen it myself so I'm relying on information from my accountant. When I pushed him he wasn't certain if it definitely said they own the Ricoh but that was definitely the impression given. He also said the figures, both the current situation...

Club aims to raise £35m from bond

I'm not but one of the recurring themes whenever SISU owning the Ricoh was ever mention was that there was no way it should be allowed as they'd go straight out and try and raise finance against it. Wasps have had the Ricoh less than 12 months and they're trying to raise £35m against it. No...

Club aims to raise £35m from bond

What really struck me was the fear of SISU doing something like this was exactly why people were against CCC selling to them. Sure now it's Wasps doing this we will see it is fine and nothing to worry about.

Club aims to raise £35m from bond

I believe the idea is you get an annual return which is greater than you would get from any offering where you were guaranteed to not lose your money. I assume they are actually offering ACL but making it sound like the Ricoh as bricks and mortar offer more security than a failed company would...

Club aims to raise £35m from bond

Some of it went over my head when the differences between retail bonds and other types of investment was being explained but basically it's not dissimilar to buying shares or investing in a hedge fund. Essentially you invest in Wasps on a high promised return. Unlike shares you don't actually...

    Papering the crowd?

Thought it was already packed every week with no free tickets. What are they going to do to 'take off big time', put on another tier?

    Is the Ricoh to big

The ACL vote wasn't a free vote was it?

    Papering the crowd?

Of course, Wasps and Cowboys an obvious connection! The PR machine is slipping if thats the sort of crap they're resorting to now.

One single significant event that shaped our season .......

Did they? I was under the impression they inherited a deal that had been agreed to under the previous owners. From what I have been told Ranson / SISUs plan was the only one that didn't require ownership of the Ricoh and that is why it was preferred by CCC. Ranson's plan was quickly getting...

    Is the Ricoh to big

you need to factor in that Sixfields was inclusive of matchday costs which add around £300 - 400K a year on top of rent at the Ricoh.

Club aims to raise £35m from bond

Heard this the other day from my accountant, think I might have mentioned it on here. Apparently in the city its regarded as a bit of a joke as their numbers don't stack up and its secured against the Ricoh which they don't technically own. Don't shoot the messenger, just relaying what I was...

Curiosity got the better of me after you posted those pics and I took at look at the gallery from todays game on the CT site. If you ever wanted to put people off going to see Wasps just show them the pics!

    Crawley

That's the problem with our squad. There's not really a whole lot we can do. You could make a case for Maddison although I'm not sure this is the right game to make that switch. Tudgay is the obvious one. Past that what changes can we realistically make?
