    To Stay or Go

Well it was Richardson not Eastwood but ignoring that I would say all the evidence suggests on this matter they are telling the truth. If they only wanted a 50% stake they could have left 50% with Higgs or let SISU buy the Higgs 50% unchallenged. They did neither of those and then said the move...

    To Stay or Go

Would depend on the details but if we assume a straight 50 / 50 share with CCFC receiving the revenues from all football at the Ricoh and Wasps getting the revenues from all rugby with everything else split evenly then it may be workable. The extra facilities at the Ricoh should mean additional...

Wasps have already said there's no chance of that happening.

Lucas sad that ccfc don't run ricoh

The whole thing stinks and the more people dig into it the more it stinks. I read the other day that prior to Wasps moving another club had requested that the RFU allow them to move or they would go bust, the RFU refused and they went out of business.

Jimmy hill statue moving to gosford green?

Is this just based off one letter in the CT? Can't find any other references to it.

Lucas sad that ccfc don't run ricoh

I think that might be the same interview I was talking about yesterday. if it is it actually happened before Richardson took over at Wasps. Would seem to indicate that his plan from day one at Wasps was to move them despite constantly assuring their fan base it wouldn't happen.

Lucas sad that ccfc don't run ricoh

Has she been to a game since she boycotted over that? The last time I heard Lucas interviewed on CWR when talking about being a CCFC supporter she always used the past tense.

Lucas sad that ccfc don't run ricoh

Not at all but if you are of the belief that Wasps are issuing false statements to manipulate the public perception of their move I would suggest you should be more worried about what else isn't true, particularly with reference to our stay as their tenant, than how many people are staying in...

Lucas sad that ccfc don't run ricoh

The huge % of people who Wasps claim come from a CV postcode are not likely to be staying in hotels when they go to a Wasps match.

I got the transfer fees by googling and taking the most commonly quoted figure so its not a case of just picking a number as you seem to suggest. Anyone you are totally missing the point. The fact is that when SISU arrived there was a period in which they appointed a 'name' manager and spent...

Lucas sad that ccfc don't run ricoh

I seem to recall that prior to Richardson even getting involved in Wasps he approached CRFC about working with them to bring a premiership side to Coventry. Rossborough (I think, might have been someone else from CRFC) spoke about it on CWR.

Wasps to pay back Ricoh Arena loan "within days"

Not just people who have signed up since the move either. I was taking a look at their forum a while back and there was comments that long time posters had been banned for daring to speak out against the move to Coventry.

Actually if you look back it proves the point. Season before SISU: 20,370 Season when SISU arrived (in December): 19,123, signed Coleman as manager, Dann (undisclosed, reported to be over £1m), Fox (£400K) and Westwood (£500K) SISU's first full season: 17,407, signed Eastwood (£1.2m), Bell...
