Yep, of the 2 players recalled & linked it was well known that Simms was to play & Broadhead to sell. It's almost like the "journalists" that write these stories churn out any old shite just for clicks.
We have used 23 players in the league this season, only Rotherham & Swansea have used fewer (both 22). With Hyam having subsequently left we've basically only got 22 players & that's including the likes of Kelly who has played 50mins total.
Correct, it's a promotion to Sporting Director for Badlan. He has also intimated he wasn't happy with a couple of things going on behind the scenes here.
Which is probably as you'd expect given the increase in league standing.
This coming summer will be the biggest in many years & could be make or break really. So many out of contract players & others showing they're not up to the level it's going to need an incredible churn all coupled with...
Awful lot of upheaval there.
Potter is a fine manager & given time I'm sure will do a good job, time isn't usually something offered by the big clubs though.
Bright was purely on Robins, have reliably heard Viveash strongly advised against it but MR felt he could still get a tune from him.
That said, if we had the budget we'd have signed Patterson & wouldn't have even looked at Bright so....
I highly doubt that we didn't prepare for it, just the players completely failed to deal with it. The 3rd goal they had 3 free headers in the box.
As others have said, without Fadz in there the difference defending set pieces is night & day.
