    Timely reminder.

Jim Brown covered this season in his latest podcast. I think the collapse started earlier than you remember with the recovery coming in the last few games.

    Stadium update

I remember a night game at Leicester a good few years ago when Micky Adams was their manager. We had scored first (Richie Partridge?) and then they had come back to lead two-one. Just after their second goal the ball boys, who had been instrumental in getting the ball back to the Leicester...

    Robin’s Take On The Game

Minor point really but I’ve heard a few people questioning why Robins didn’t utilise the long throw. At the start of his time here MvE hurt his arm (I think maybe taking a long throw). That first season he was therefore unwilling or unable to take long throws.Nothing to do with Robins telling...

    Robin’s Take On The Game

So limited he saved us from the very real prospect of slipping out of the league, won the EFL trophy, gave us our first top 6 finish in 50 years, won the League Two play off final, consolidated in League One, Won our first Championship, the League One Championship, in nearly 60 years...

    Matchday Ticket Prices

Like many other people on here I have a season ticket for home games but buy tickets on a match by match basis for away games. We are affected by those ticket prices and it is a shame that our club is at the forefront of pushing pricing boundaries which other clubs will inevitably follow.

    Matchday Ticket Prices

Football is not the same as the theatre. I enjoy going to plays and musicals but it’s a two or three times a year event, particularly as ticket prices are high. Football clubs depend upon the same group of people coming back up to 30 times in a year ( cup matches, friendlies etc). I’d say that...

    Matchday Ticket Prices

Odd fact to state ( ie neither me or the majority of fans are affected by high price tickets) in a thread with heated arguments on the rights and wrongs of high ticket prices. Perhaps you could clarify what you meant?

    Matchday Ticket Prices

H I had to look up straw man as I had no idea what it meant so I have learnt something from this conversation. You said ‘We're not as most of us don't go to away games. Therefore the price of away tickets doesn't affect the majority of us. Also the majority of us have season tickets so we are...

    Matchday Ticket Prices

Would you not agree that the idea of, ‘I’m not bothered about match day prices or what an away fan pays as it doesn’t affect me’ is a bit selfish? For those who can’t afford a season ticket, and there will be many in this city who can’t, is it okay to say that if they want to go to an occasional...

  16. Irish Sky Blue

    Matchday Ticket Prices

The point being made was that £45 ticket prices were needed to fund a push to the PL. In reality the difference made in profit between £45 tickets and £35 tickets won’t make that much difference to funds but it will put some people off coming to the games. The fact we’ve had only one sold out...

    Matchday Ticket Prices

I would doubt that our chances of getting to the PL rest on the increased income gained from £45 seats over £35 seats. Have we had a sell out away section yet this season? I cant think of one. Could be a false economy charging more per ticket but ultimately selling less.

If he’d been good enough he wouldn’t have been dropped. He had plenty of chances to stake a claim and he either didn’t or couldn’t take them. His subsequent career shows that Robins was right

    Irish Sky Blues?

I was born in Coventry with Irish parents so I aleays class myself as Coventry Irish. However in every other way I would class myself as Irish. If your heart is green then there is nothing you can do about it.💚☘️
