    Dean Austin position untenable

And you don’t make appointments the new owner doesn’t agree with either normally. Again I’d go back to the fact that Austin survived the post King cull more than any other member of staff. Even if you blame Robins for hiring him somehow, you have to accept King has made a conscious decision to...

He did own the club! He purchased an 85% stake a month earlier. The takeover didn’t get EFL approval until mid Jan but the deal was agreed and signed.

    Israel - Palestinian Conflict

I mean if he’s waits four more days he’s got a US president who takes a much more “glass parking lot” approach to the Middle East generally.

    Dean Austin position untenable

The reason I think King wasn’t a silent partner here is that he’s sacked most of the people there when he took over but not Austin, instead promoting him to be alongside the manager and performance director in the decision making group.

Except this wasn’t the Sisu era as they’d sold the club a month before.

    Dean Austin position untenable

I think that’s a fair assumption. I find it hard to believe there wasn’t a hiring freeze or Kings input on a club he was already in the process of buying. Sisu agreed the sale on Nov 16, Austin came in a month later.

Right so he’s met him. If he’s your mate you don’t go “yeah we’ve been on courses together and I played against him once”

These replies say far more about you than me mate.

What was said? What was Robins previous relationship? I’m just asking why you think this.
  10. shmmeee

    Dean Austin position untenable

Yeah but equally it could have just been Robins being flippant with the press as was his way.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Well between some random on the internet with strong opinions and decades of educational research I know which one I’m going with.

“Hey should we intervene and reduce the chance of this child becoming a drain of public resources as an adult?” “Nah let them cook. I want to teach these parents a lesson” Genius.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

No you’re the moron who goes “well you should have considered every possible life outcome before having kids”. Shit happens man. Illness. Addiction. Family breakdown. Once a kid is born it’s born. Saying “I wouldn’t start from here” is just pointless bollocks.

Because you’re a good parent. Well done here’s a gold star ⭐ Now what about kids who aren’t as lucky as yours?

Ive not said that. I’ve said we don’t know and the assertion that it’s “obvious” is based on nothing. You had a chance to prove me wrong and instead went with laughing emojis and wild straw men so I guess that proves my point.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

If you know anything of the pressures on social services yes it’s delusional. Like Homer Simpson’s Garbage Man delusional. There’s just not the resources or the processes to deal with this after the fact. We can’t even get a handle on serious abuse let alone Monster for breakfast. We all know...

    Dean Austin position untenable

He was brought in in the period between King agreeing to buy us and him having the takeover approved. It’s a fair assumption, but it’s also a fair assumption King had some oversight during that period. We just don’t know.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

How? Have you fucking seen the caseload of your average social services worker? This is just delusional stuff I’m sorry.
