I think the agreement actually went further than that. The US, us and Russia all signed an agreement to protect Ukraine. Russia currently breaking that agreement. I think there’s also a lesser agreement with other European countries and China to also protect Ukraine.

Depends what you define as military intervention. We’ve helped arm and train Ukraine army for a few years and upped the arms supply in the last few weeks and months.

A Ukrainian general made a good point just on C4 news. It’s Ukrainian air space, Russia is violating it. Technically and historically it doesn’t constitute a no fly zone as no fly zones have been used to stop caliphates flying in there own airspace to attack their own land and people.
