Club aims to raise £35m from bond

If it is the case that the information buried in a 276 page prospectus is correct yet the summary on their website states "The Bonds will be secured over Wasps Holdings and Arena Coventry Limited, including the Ricoh Arena" I would suggest they are attempting to mislead to make the security...

Club aims to raise £35m from bond

Why are the CT not all over this? The prospectus claims the investment is secured against the Ricoh but unless something we don't know about has happened Wasps don't own that. Surely they can't just make a clearly false claim like that and not be questioned. Let alone the implications for...

Changes to the Ricoh next season - Waggott

Good news that season tickets will be reduced, hopefully more people will sign up now. Of course as ticketing is a huge % of our revenue I'm sure it will have to follow that lower prices means a smaller budget but you can't have it all ways. Makes sense to close parts of the ground off. No one...

    Papering the crowd?

For that to have any meaning you need to be able to evidence total ticket revenues for the match. If I pay 1p for a ticket or a booking and / or postage fee I could be counted as paid but would be a long way from full price.

    Papering the crowd?

Anyone can come on here and post rubbish like that and claim it as fact, I'll show you how: Oh here we go again. Yes Wasps are giving free tickets away, 75% of tickets last match were free (I have a source very high at The Ricoh), the Leicester game has about 15,000 freebies available to...

    Papering the crowd?

Can tell you're not local, anyone local would know the answer to that is that people from Leicester are stupid. As I've said before boasting that you can fill the ground once a year when the majority of the crowd will be away supporters is incredibly bizzare. If we were playing Leicester or...

Well they must have looked into at least one of them else we'd still be in Northampton.

    hypothetical question

Great, then if we ever make any money it can be diverted to Wasps to help fund them.

    rushden and diamonds

It hasn't people are saying it has been rumoured. The response was a statement of fact that Wasps have said what is going to happen.

And where have that stated that this deal to keep us at the Ricoh long term will be on the same terms or better from a CCFC point of view?

    hypothetical question

If SISU walked away after relegation to L2 there's a good chance we'd end up in administration again and start next season on -10. And then we've got to find someone who wants to take over a L2 club starting the season behind everyone else with no stadium and hugely limited revenues.

    Tony Mowbray - Thoughts

Realistically what can be done? On the basis that the club has to be sustainable, and that we will always struggle given our situation on that front, the club needs to maximise the revenue streams we do have. Get the shop sorted, get the sponsors back etc. Go on a marketing drive. Again...

    Blaze

Weber back for another year. I'm no expert on the Elite League but I'm pretty sure this is unexpected and brilliant news for Blaze. http://www.coventryblaze.co.uk/index.php/news/latest-news/1523-weber-back-for-blaze

what was that paranormal series called ?

There's Once Upon a Time, Grimm and Sleepy Hollow which are all a bit naff. You don't mean American Horror Story do you? Not really supernatural but it's the closest thing I can think of. Constantine started OK but got binned after one season so it can't be that. The Leftovers isn't really what...

From what we have heard with the bond issue the 2 year option favours ACL not the club. Depending on what is actually in the lease it might be tricky to put the rent up but there's always ways around that. What if the matchday costs are suddenly £1m a year.

I wonder what Wasps would have to do before the majority of our fan base actually got pissed off with them?

Club aims to raise £35m from bond

Well I was hopeful, given how glaring obvious some of the questions needing to be asked were, that our local media would get on the case. Seems I'm going to be disappointed as a few days on and we've heard nothing.

Is it just left empty at that moment? You should pop down and take a look and see if there's anything that indicates they might be getting it ready for use.

If we go down what will sisu do?

Don't think there would be any change to be honest. They are running, or at least attempting to run, the club in a self sufficient manner. If they achieve that they can stick around pretty much indefinitely without putting more money in hoping some miracle happens that gets them a return. To...
