Bit worried about the structure in midfield especially after recent matches. But at the same time that front 4 looks tasty.

Everyone’s been slating Rudoni anyway, not the worst thing if he has a knock and we can change it up without having to drop him specifically.

We can present ourselves however we like, rarely means much compared to cold hard cash 😂

As was the case with Hamer and O’Hare, if it comes down to money we can’t compete with them.

Well no, if we went up we’d have a completely new wage structure with multiple new signings coming in. If we don’t go up it will remain similar and we probably don’t want one player sitting on a 4 year contract earning 10k more than our next highest earner.

Thing is you can’t just break your wage structure for one player And we do have to consider the possibility we don’t go up. Maybe he would go for a promotion incentive based deal, but I imagine the likes of Valencia and Sheff Utd would be able to meet his demands off the bat.

Wages will be the problem won’t they? I imagine he must be on more than 30k. If it’s a permanent deal are we prepared to make him our highest earner by some way on a long deal?

Rarely but sometimes. His career is stalling right now. I’d be looking to leave ASAP if I was him. He’d have more lucrative offers than us though, but I do think we might be a better environment.

Only because he can’t be arsed for Sheff United. He only signed because they were in the prem and paying him more, now they’re not and he gets the money anyway. The only way he re-signs for us is if he wants to come back for sentimental reasons so you’d imagine he’ll work a bit harder.
