Would take that every week. Decent to watch and 3 points. We will only get better in the second half of the season with our squad almost back to full fitness. Patience, it’s coming!
snap! Boxing Day in Bristol was bitterly cold, typical Slade performance. Last season was the same old story, should’ve been out of sight yet punished by a former player.
Going by the coulda, woulda, shoulda mindset, the games against Bolton, Oxford, MK Dons, Burton, Peterborough and Sunderland could arguably have all heralded wins. I hope the 10 points dropped doesn’t come back and bite us on the backside come May.
Richie Partridge-esque.
Unbelievable goal. Had one of his best games for us yesterday too. Pressure is on him now to maintain that level of performance with the midfield options becoming available in the near future.
Not a bad bloke, but he was god awful as a manager. Was over the moon when he left. Pretty sure he had 2 10 game winless runs in the same season. Was also a manager who watched a completely different game to the fans.
I’m sure every time we’ve had a managerial vacancy since he left, there have...
What a horrible, shitty little club they are. By far the worst performance by a set of officials this season and that’s saying something.
Only one side every trying to win that game but with the stop-start nonsense by that wanker of a referee and the gamesmanship of the majority of their team...
Decent record against the Posh but not a great find to play them given the form they’re currently in. That being said, we do tend to raise our game against the better sides. It’d be a big statement if we could come away with 3 points but the pessimist in me says we are going to be overturned...
It’s the lack of accountability that has always wound me up. They aren’t ever interviewed post-match and if a manager or player dare criticize a frankly ridiculous decision, they are charged and/or fined with bringing the game into disrepute by the farce that is the Football League/F.A.
