    Injury Updates

Good idea. If anyone could be arsed to maintain it (and I’d have a go) would it be worth an injuries sticky like we have with the contracts?

Didn’t expect this so soon but a good example of free speech online vs safety. I’m not sure what good this would do tbh the internet is very much a genie out of its bottle. https://www.ft.com/content/3c8923f3-9e30-4fdd-927c-d69754efd737

No arguments here. The numbers are skewed in both crime stats and stop and search stats (where black people are massively overrepresented) because inner city and younger populations are both more likely to be non white and more likely to be involved in crime than rural or older people.

They’re welcome to want that, but we live governed by laws not what people want the laws to be. If they can get a majority in parliament to change the laws then more power to them.

We’re already stopping 2 in every 100 people in London from the looks of it… https://www.ethnicity-facts-figures.service.gov.uk/crime-justice-and-the-law/policing/stop-and-search/latest/

Usually the laws relevant to the cases they’re trying yes. Why does it always end up with a complete disregard for justice and the law on the land?

Lawyers don’t write the laws they just make sure they’re applied. And Rwanda wasn’t free. It cost £170k per person plus £370m over five years.

I don’t think scotlands approach that basically got rid of knife crime can be 100% followed but the basics could be. Again it’s funding people to go out and talk to these kids and help them into other areas.

Who fucked up? You’ve done your usual thing of spouting a load of nonsense which is immediately disproven but you keep on believing it. I’m not sure how to find a generic PowerPoint screenshot other than reverse image search. I’m also not sure why you keep refusing to just share your source...

You didn’t read the article did you? This has nothing to do with her time as PM. As for the rest of your copy and paste I’m a big supporter of nuclear, check this thread for my comments on it. I’m just not delusional enough to think everything would be fixed with fracking. We import gas and we...

Who is making things up? Ironically you keep making things up I’ve said like I grew up in Compton. Or that he wasn’t prosecuted for things he was prosecuted for. Or that it was a terror attack. Or that we send billions in cash to Ukraine. The irony. All you’ve got is a laughing emoji and a claim...

Im not acting like anything. Im telling you what I’ve seen with my own eyes. You said you haven’t seen it. There’s nothing more than that. I’m going off the sentencing council website. If you’ve got more the great share it. I’m not sure what that PowerPoint refers to. But I’m telling you from...

I’ve given you the stats. I’ve worked in shitty schools in shitty areas, I’ve grown up at shitty schools so yeah I have a bit more context than you clearly. You asked why they took him home, I explained why. Carrying a knife alone under 16 doesn’t usually involve getting prosecuted that’s the...

I carried a knife briefly for protection around 12/13, I know others that did. He was found with a knife after a search because his mum had reported him missing. That’s why he was taken home, because it was a missing persons case. I don’t know if the knife met the requirements for being...

I’d like to see a program of retrofitting or providing new insulated homes prioritising the elderly. But no doubt that’s “fantasy net zero bollocks” 🙄

Im not sure you understand how many kids this applies to. There’s an estimated 140,000 kids carrying knives. About 12,000 a year permanently excluded (and that usually requires violence). Of those one did this. It’s needle in a haystack. Look I get the desire to find some obvious easy fix to...

His dad didnt want to prosecute, so the police wouldn’t act there. He was prosecuted and sentenced for the hockey attack so that doesn’t count as not being followed up. That actually happened after he was excluded the reason he was excluded was because of him admitting to carrying a knife so...

Dart, you’ve been shown the data of it being wholesale prices, you’ve been shown evidence of our reserves being low and making us particularly vulnerable to wholesale rises. All you’ve got is a laughing emoji. I’d be embarrassed if I were you.
