Coventry City FC need 11,000 fans at every home game....

Well from your picute I can make out 2 Wasps logos, can't really make out the CCFC logos as they are significantly smaller. And of course your picture either obscures or was taken before the Wasps logos around the perimeter of the pitch. TM keeps talking about the identity of the club, hence...

    Nice article in the Independent

KPMG ran it exactly the same as they would an administration process. They sought out all potential buyers. If you recall at the time there was interest besides SISU however the council put an end to interest from all but SISU as they were not prepared to release control of the Ricoh. There was...

    Nice article in the Independent

People seem to forget that the process run at the time was in all but name administration. KPMG were even brought in to run it. The only reason we technically didn't go into administration at that point was that the debt was to the likes of Robinson and putting the club into administration would...

Coventry City FC need 11,000 fans at every home game....

Seems like the club are sorting it or at least attempting to. They're looking at upgrading the online system, including making match packages available; have requested the ticket office phone system be upgraded so calls can queue and are looking at issues with pay on the gate. If anyone has any...

Coventry City FC need 11,000 fans at every home game....

11K is what we need to be in line with the budget the club submitted for SCMP. Less and the budget could go down, possibly leading to embargo if we're already up to the limit. More interesting if we average more then around Xmas there should be some pressure on Waggott to give TM more if he...

    England U21s at the Ricoh

That's the usual trick, put a couple of local team players in the squad to shift tickets. Yes, perfect example of why the football club needs stadium ownership. This game wouldn't be taking place at the Ricoh if it was only used by Wasps so essentially it is another source of revenue generated...

    Crewe Fans

They don't seem to have a particularly active forum. Had a quick look before the game as I was going to post about the plan for the 15th min. Maybe someone should contact the club (via Kieran?) and ask them to send a letter of thanks on behalf of everyone.

    Live commentary from matches

Guess it wasn't covered by any contract as it was a friendly so just needed the two clubs to agree it. The chaps that did the commentary usually do Havant & Waterlooville games as well as Portsmouth Ladies.

They rent the ground to Villa for either their reserves or youth team (or possibly both) and also rent it out for regular car boot sales. Sure there's other things they do to generate income as well.

Another win, 2-0. Although to be honest I'd happily take a point.

    Crewe - Guess the attendance

The easy option is make it pay on the gate only then you'd only have people queuing to collect tickets which should be preprinted and a lot quicker. With tickets being £20 you should be able to get cash payers through the gate quickly as there won't be a need to mess around with change.

Didn't Walsall use that last year on adverts for the game?

    1992

Wasps sell through Ticketmaster so they will be using the Ticketmaster 360 back end. The club could have their own account and access to create events for the Ricoh which is already programmed on there. The issue will be cost. The current system is, I suspect, an off the shelf system the club...

    Crewe - Guess the attendance

Might be worth them not selling tickets at the ground. If you want to pay on the day cash at the turnstile. It's £20 so there shouldn't even be messing about with change. Then you just have to deal with ticket collections. Split up by surname so have say 4 staff each doing a quarter of the...
