    As It Stands

They'll meet that as they borrowed the money to do it. But what happens if they keep running at a loss? When it comes time to repay if they try to do the same again with another bond they would have to borrow more and people would have several years trading in Cov to look at rather than Wasps...

    Vive la Republique!

Its strange really. More and more rights get taken away but nobody is motivated to do anything. Anyone who objects is labelled lazy or a lefty.

There's a thing called the working time directive. But what it contains is a maximum, so you must not work more than 48 hours a week (except in the UK as we negotiated an exemption!). Individual countries can set their own limit so long as they are 48 hours or lower. There's loads of other stuff...

Have I missed him being confirmed as leaving?

    As It Stands

I trust OSBs judgement but I have to admit I don't really understand how loss making Wasps buying struggling to break even ACL and taking out tens of millions of debt is not a risk. If they were that sure things would go well why did they borrow the money to be able to pay the interest on the...

    England Euros Training Squad

Delphi, Sturridge and Wilshire out for me. I like Wilshire but he's done nothing in these games to win his place, plus factor in that he's only played 3 times for Arsenal since coming back from injury.

Will be very surprised if this doesn't happen. I'd be tempted to start with Rashford in the group games as it won't be expected. He's in such great form and full of confidence don't think it would be much of a risk.

    True Blood

I was OK until the fairies showed up, that was a step too far for me. For those who like Deborah Ann Woll she's also in Daredevil which is a show worth watching anyway.

Not a fan of this red kit, too much blue trim.

    Why Can't CCFC

The priority would be having a season of success, would make a nice change. Hard to predict what would happen long term if we were bouncing around divisions. Would be nice to think we could get into the Championship and stabilise there but while you're allowed to lose millions a year can't see...

Why on earth was he trying to head that?

Their basic rate is lower (14% compared to our 20%) but they have a middle rate we don't have. €26,792 - €71,826 is 30%. Although that means their higher rate doesn't kick in as low so it probably all evens out.

    Revenues blah blah blah !

You would have to go up and then have a squad similar to our relegation season so we weren't losing money. So you'd pretty much be setting yourself up for failure in the Championship. But at least we'd enjoy a season of success!

    Revenues blah blah blah !

Why does it require extra investment? Lets say the Ricoh naming rights are worth £500K without us or £1m with us. Why shouldn't we get a least a decent percentage of the extra £500K we generate?

    Why Can't CCFC

We'll never find out but I wonder if they would have tried making them even cheaper if they'd maintained the level of revenue with the reductions last season.

Depends how you look at it. If you look at just the numbers then no. There's are $48K and ours $54K (they get reported in dollars as its supposed to be more reliable). But our consumer prices are 4.4% higher and rent / mortgage 34.8% higher. If you think they have it good some countries are now...

1-0 to England. Although Australia are getting a lot more of the ball and a lot further forward than I'd be happy with if I was the manager.

    Revenues blah blah blah !

I think the danger with that is you become used to it and gradually crowds drop. Every relegation sees more walk away but each promotion sees a smaller and smaller increase and people think we'll just go straight back down again. How many times does that has to happen before we're not getting...

    Vive la Republique!

We're way too passive in this country. A lot of people are quite happily about to vote to leave the organisation that protects our working rights despite the fact we have the minimum level of rights allowed and have tried arguing for them to be relaxed. Don't have to be a genius to see what will...
