Jordan Clarke bickers with Twitter followers.

You can have a go at players in a football environment, I'm completely with you on that - but outside of that I don't agree at all. As he says, it's the equivalent of walking up to him in the street and lecturing him about his job, which isn't fair.

He does that by playing football. He shouldn't be a hapless punchbag to all kinds of abuse outside this. What if he was walking down the street, is it ok to hurl abuse at him there too?

    Statement Tomorrow

A number of sites (Sky, TeamTalk, Football365) have just come out with stories lead with 'Coventry City have confirmed Ray Ranson has resigned as the club's chairman' Shouldn't the official site be the first place for anything to be confirmed?

Jordan Clarke bickers with Twitter followers.

I didn't go to Preston, no. If Clarke and others mouthed off at the fans then that's foolish of him. HOWEVER, this has no bearing on him commenting on a day off he had a week later. It doesn't matter how 'proper fans' (nice attempt at a dig there) feel, he shouldn't have to answer to us 24...

    Stop the bickering...

I was never keen on the protest, I'm sure SISU are well aware that people aren't happy with the current situation at the club (something that would be obvious to anyone who can dress themselves to be honest) but I don't see how the protest would go. SISU out, but then what? Far better to rally...

    Another Pre-statement statement.

After all these preludes, the eventual statement will just read 'wait, what were we talking about again?'

Jordan Clarke bickers with Twitter followers.

So what? Is he supposed to traipse around in a constant pit of despair just to keep up appearances? He's enjoyed a day off, there's no reason whatsoever to start harassing him. Why should it be 'regardless of what was said to him' when it was in direct reply to someone saying he and his...

CCFC are heading for the drop

The people who run the Ricoh are running a football stadium, I don't think the on-pitch performance really affects their other operations within the venue. It's not like Kings of Leon are going to cancel if we go down.

    SISU On Way Out?

People have been predicting SISU's departure since soon after they took over. I'll only believe it when I see it.

    Kevin Blackwell to be appointed

Anything that's sourced from a national paper, I take with a pinch of salt.

Right, so who's joined from GMK then?

I never registered with GMK, but would have a look on rare occasions. Whatever forum software they used put me off, it was a pretty ugly site to look at.

    SISU information

Two very different scenarios. SISU are a hedge fund who actively seek out failing businesses with an eye on turning them around. Whether they succeed or not in the end, they most certainly will have checked everything from top to bottom and know exactly what they were taking over.

    SISU information

They're not the type of operation to make the move without research, so they'll have known exactly what they were taking on. I think there's something in the global financial crisis theory that changed their plans, and as SISU are a middle-man for investors it could have been a change in the...

    SISU information

If you were to look at how many club owners are doing it for love rather than money, you'd no doubt see that SISU are far from alone in this philosophy.

Article: Marlon King Wants To Stay at Coventry City

He's a cut above, but ironically given their history Boothroyd's style of football didn't seem to get the best out of him. Hopefully the display at Burnley is suggestive of how we're going about the rest of the season at least.

It's still Puma yeah, there was mention of them when they first ran the article with Joe Elliott's 'best kit ever!' spiel.

Letter From Andy Thorn and Steve Harrison

Perhaps a little, but cynicism is healthy. I consider it a small step forward, which is something at least.

Should we wait to appoint new guy?

In what way did Di Matteo get lucky with WBA, a team who deservedly were promoted?

Because that goal's the exception and he's generally been off the pace and misfiring.
