He’s a versatile player and like Lats that will probably save him. He’s probably our second choice RWB, could fill in on the wing or anywhere in CM, even at CB at a push.
Bury were L2 when they went pop IIRC. You can be sustainable in L2 TBF. But at this level you may as well spend IMO. If you go bust at worst you’re likely to spend a season in L1.
I don’t think such a route exists in modern football TBH. People freak out about spending and going bankrupt but it’s rare it actually kills a team off at this level. Mostly they get bought up and come back stronger.
He was saying in his interview how he’s always looking where the keeper is when we break. It’s clearly something’s he’s planned and executed. Excellent hit, the way it drops was perfect.
Some of it is just playing within their capabilities. We aren’t asking the defence to pass it around or the midfield to break teams down or Simms to play on his own. Will be very interesting if we do go back to 433 and passing football how the players manage.
Same reason I remember every shit pass Thomas does or every time Jamie Allen is eased out of the way or people jumped on every shit pass from Sheaf for years. Confirmation bias is rife in football. That’s why stats matter.
TBF we had no one to come on for Torp or Rudoni really today. Grimes Sheaf Allen and Eccles all play a more defensive role. There’s definitely room for a more attacking CM IMO.
Don’t agree. We’re in form. Keep playing every game and hope to win. Especially if we do lose to Leeds a win against PL side and we’re right back up for it. Fuck the tinkering now. Players keep the shirt until they lose it through form or injury IMO.
I think this is fair an I worry about the culture for exactly that reason. It’s why I’m against Islamic (and Jewish and private) schools. Schools are the last bastion of a unifying culture and you shouldn’t be able to opt out of them.
