We’re a top 3-4 side. Ipswich, Leicester, Southampton and even Sheff U have deeper squads than us and that could be the difference. We’re still in October and in the 4 games we’ve drew, we’ve not really had any game changers to call upon from the bench. Take today as an example, the subs we...

Yep, those people must feel rather silly now. Haji has always scored more goals as a striker than a LW for us. I went through the data in the summer and Haji had a stand out 2 month spell in 2023 and those perceptions stuck.

This is why you have your valuation and you stick to it. If he wasn’t worth £15m in the summer, he definitely is now!

V similar goals, we’ll get many more like that if we carry on like this. It’s a v effective tactical idea. Right now, I don’t think we have enough for automatic promotion but with a strong Jan window could really make the difference.

The first half v Oxford was one of the most dominant performances from Cov I’ve seen in recent years. Should have scored 4-5 goals. BTA deserves a big shout out and I’d seriously consider keeping him as a starting winger.

The second goal was one of the best team goals we’ll score all season. 1st and 4th goals were good counterattacking moves. Kessler-Hayden looked fantastic on the ball!

That was a cracking result! To a man everyone played v well! 4-0 is a flattering scoreline because Millwall caused us some problems Shout out to Rushworth who made 2 top saves! He’s starting to show his class now. Kudos to Aled Williams! 😂

Agreed. Andrews in particular would have benefitted from coming into a game at 3-0 with no pressure. He had some decent touches. Likewise, you want to sub off Torp, Eccles, BTA, Sakamoto to keep them fresh. CBs by contrast, is a lower intensity role and both Kitch and Thomas are both durable...

Chancers can succeed in the L1 but in the Championship, you’re not getting promoted without a half decent manager.

That’s harsh. It was a difficult chance and was a decent job controlling the ball in the fist place.

Sounded like Rooney after we comfortably beat them 2-0. The game wasn’t close at all and that’s reflected in the stats. It’s good that Blues and Wrexham are being put back in their little box.

    3rd Kit

I like it, more of our away kits should be navy-ish with a sky blue trim.

It’s more appropriate to say Wilson peaked in 22/23 rather than regressed in 23/24 who returned to the same player that was dropped in 21/22. That’s the view I take. You see it all the time that players have 1 season that is a complete outlier.

Viveash personally wanted Collins and apparently had a fraught relationship with Wilson. That’s what I got told by a mate who may get some insider info. This would make sense because Collins randomly went to 3rd choice and Wilson to 2nd for no apparent reason. Dovin was the first player we...

It's all one way traffic. Dovin's performances in Jan-Feb was a massive factor in the win streak, his average match rating was 8.05 over 8 games starting from Norwich (a) to Wednesday (a). That's crazy form for a GK and as you say, no one credited Aled Williams for it. But, if Collins decides...

My honest opinion is that none of the goal keepers were particularly good to begin with. 1. Marosi didn't regress. We signed him for L1 and and we got promoted, broke his cheeckbone in the Championship and lost his place, L1 is his level and always has been 2. Moore by all accounts dealt with...

Trump is my favourite comedian of the year already

There were people calling Cameron a ‘fascist’ in 2010-2015 before Farage took that mantle… How do you differentiate Farage who many on here have called ‘far right’ and Nick Griffin who is an actual ethno-nationalist and proud neo-Nazi? It’s a question I posed earlier that no one has taken me up...

Transfer Rumour 25/26 Summer Transfer Window

Rudoni on one ‘wing’ and Sakamoto/EMC on the other. Wide forward being the number 1 priority in the transfer market. My super ideal would be one winger who can play both sides and another development player like Rudoni who can play all over the front 3. Rudoni is thankfully a v robust player...

What do you or anyone even mean when you say fascist? Fascists are usually v anti-capitalist economically which is v much not Trump. A pertinent quote below: “not all authoritarian regimes are fascist, and more distinguishing traits are required for a regime to be characterized as such”...
