    Biamou

I think Grendel now has to come out and say he was wrong on this one. I'm sure Grendel said he wasn't good enough for League Two and should be playing non league. He looked anything but a non league player tonight. He carries on like this I think Biamou could do a decent job in League One too.

Burge - 9. Thought he was magnificent tonight. Really commanding and a combination of some great saves and punches clear. Grimmer - 7.5. Could have perhaps done better for their goal, but grew into the game as it wore on and finished very strongly. Hyam - 8.5. Hardly put a foot wrong Willis -...

FA charge Davies over stamping claim

I think some have revisited it and come to the conclusion that it had to be deliberate. For me it is the looking down before he did it that gives away the intention.

FA charge Davies over stamping claim

Hasn't it now been accepted by just about everyone that it was deliberate? I do still have an issue with 'stamp' though. He definitely made sure he trod down on his leg, but it wasn't a stamp. That's in no way excusing it. Had I seen it in the night I would have said he deserved a red card...

Well, You been giving it all the talk

Yeah, I used to work for British Coal at Keresley and they all said 'snap.' Some words just don't seem to be about anymore. My missus the other day asked what a 'sarnie' was and said that she had never heard the word before. Have to confess, I can't remember the last time I heard it either.

Not so sure that partnership works. Both players like to go wide to chase and pick up on loose balls and I think there would be too big of a gap between them for them to work as a tandem.

FA charge Davies over stamping claim

I agree. I think it would have been a yellow. Had he stamped on his foot, on trod on it with force, then it would have been a red.

Talking in terms of the football they play.

Livermore is not good enough to compete on the big stage against the likes of Belgium, or France, or Germany, or Brazil etc.

FA charge Davies over stamping claim

It's the looking down that does him in. If he hadn't have looked down he would have gotten* away with it I reckon. * Yep, It's a Buzzard, I'm American.

Agree and that's nowt to do with any local rivalry thing. Really would like to see Fulham go up.

Well, You been giving it all the talk

I wouldn't be too harsh on him. I have traced my family all the way back to 1066 and to Nottingham. I have had family who have had streets named after them there and who were lord mayors. It's not NottsMan 's fault he was descended from the local village idiot. Might have been my relatives...

Big difference between the domestic stage and the international one though. Livermore is found out at international level.

Yeah, there's talk that Loftus-Cheek won't make it and he surely should be in.

FA charge Davies over stamping claim

Yup. Apparently it is fine as long as you get away with it.

He might not be in, I'm just guessing, but I do think Southgate will play it safe.

He's left Wilshire out? What??? Madness I feel and well worth the gamble in taking him. He can be the midfield general we may well need for this tournament. Maybe he's not quite as talented as Jake Livermore eh!
