    Looks like...

Oh God, I'm done with all this until he's officially signed to someone for next season and beyond. Too much misinformation.

    It's Sunderland.....

Like much of his career, that was hampered by injury. I can't speak for anyone else but I derive little pleasure from a talented player being injury-prone.

    It's Sunderland.....

He's in the Premier League and has an England cap, two things that wouldn't have happened had he not left.

    King to Sunderland!

Gunnarsson and agent seen on holiday. Very very very very reliable source I won't name.

    It's Sunderland.....

I think the Mail have run the story too, before the Star just about if newsnow is accurate.

Email from Club RE Telegraph Article

I cringe at those 'articles' where they just compile the insane rants of the comments section. They're fine hidden away down the bottom of each page in the same way that you'd keep the demented shut-in son in the cellar, but let's not make a point of showing them to real people.

    Jordan Henderson

It would have been nearer £5m, if that.

    It's Sunderland.....

All the best, Keiren. Even with your strangely-spelt first name.

Email from Club RE Telegraph Article

I never get these emails! You can see why the CET would go the sensationalist trashy route. I mean nobody's going to read 'debt still as we thought' but 'City on the brink of DOOOOOOOM!' will get hits and sell papers. It's all a bit Freddie Starr Ate My Hamster though, and I've lost faith in...

    Brody tweets...

He's not exactly saying it's ok, it's just that it's not new alarming news. The Telegraph have got a juicy front page out of it and the reactions they were hoping for.

    Brody tweets...

Fair do's. I think that for any of his faults or inaccuracies, he is trying and working to get the best for the club, and his constant availability via Twitter does address some of the criticisms over the last 3-4 years regarding the board and SISU and how 'invisible' they were. Not everyone...

    Brody tweets...

It wasn't aggressive, I was just curious why him trying to calm fears about debts that were pretty much common knowledge angers you. What he told us about King is that he verbally agreed, there's no sign of that being a lie even if King ends up reneging on it. With 'Dick head, fuck off! ' why...

    This better not be true!

In the close season, without gossip and hearsay the football side of the internet would die off and Sky Sports News would be on about five minutes a day. Ok, maybe there are upsides.

What can you tell us about the debts that contradict him?

King and agent seen at St Andrews

Most of the people in the thread have been calling him a liar. It's not gullible, suckers for punishment perhaps.

King and agent seen at St Andrews

Greystokes claims that his very very reliable source who he conveniently left without naming saw King at St. Andrews. Even the stories that have come out about Birmingham perhaps trying to sign him mention that King is away on holiday. I wouldn't be surprised if the CET just trawl forums...

    Birmingham in for king...

That'd be the worst thing about the whole charade...

    Birmingham in for king...

We announced Thorn as manager on a verbal agreement, it's not a first.
