Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Planning reform isn't the magic bullet. It's almost like being in the early 2010s again as the coalition said much the same. Planning reform really means giving housebuilders greater rights to build without condition(s), it might mean a greater supply of houses in the medium term but that's...

I think Reeves is awful but she can't be blamed particularly for both quarters. Until she realises that restoring household spending power is the aim, not vague GDP growth she'll get nowhere .

Match Thread Portsmouth FC - Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 21st Dec

Collins will stay in goal for the next game, why would you change it after a win where he's made two good saves? Would probably keep the same back 5 bar Bidwell in for Da Silva. Would probably go with Simms over Bassette too but otherwise unchanged.

    Robins tribute

Is Robins averse to that? Assume so but if he got in somewhere where it was better established he might be ok.

    LOAN MARKET

You'd think to a certain extent it must do anyway? The four year contracts I have always assumed were to protect the player's value for a sale after two years

    LOAN MARKET

It's just reality / pragmatism for the moment isn't it? No point in dreaming at this stage

    LOAN MARKET

He might have said get us to the end of the season and reassess from there. From what he said at the fans' forum, King seems to have his eyes on staying up in the first instance (if he really did believe that Robins would take us down).

No, I think it was probably hype at the time he signed it. I think United have always overstated the worth of individual players to their share price.

Man Utd? They've sacked a load of low and average earners and even downgraded their Christmas party this year. They've got no social conscience at all.

I'm not sure what the West's current view on sharia law is as apparently it's all good in Syria

His record is pretty mediocre. Fair play he got Southampton up last season but given the strength of their squad, you'd have expected them to get to the play offs at least anyway. At MK Dons and Swansea he flattered to deceive, with a 37% win record.

I think they've had their day now. The prices are just outrageous and it's not even a novelty given that you can get bratwurst all year round.

    Confirmed : Lampard Head Coach

The United and Wolves games are irrelevant to how we have done in a common or garden home match in the league

    Confirmed : Lampard Head Coach

I'm trying to remember all of these sparkling home performances under Robins where we swept teams aside. We won games most often by the odd goal, which is perfectly fine. We won 9 of 23 home games last season. We won 11 of 23 home games in the play off season. 7 of which were by a single goal.

    Confirmed : Lampard Head Coach

Yesterday was a good performance and it wasn't a scraped win at all, should have been a greater margin.

    Championship thread 24/25!

Exceptionally harsh, they've been far more competitive than you'd expect with the quality of their squad.
