it’s ashame the Wilson deal hasn’t done so well. You feel that Bournemouth pushed us down on upfront price due to our situation, and we put some good sell on clauses which have never materialised. Bournemouth were laughing then.

Tim Fisher must do a half decent job at something. I watched the video the other day of when we moved to Northampton and he said fans would be there when we played and did well. We did do well and that never happened. He comes across cocky and arrogant, very poor at building a relationship with...

    Budget

As some others have said, the virus will start to level the playing field a bit. You never know, 3 clubs could go into admin and be deducted points meaning we don’t finish in the relegation zone!

Will we even see any of it?

I live 3.5 hours away, and every time we come up it costs well over £100, tickets, fuel, parking etc, with only the ticket money going to the club so I only come up a couple of times a season. The games I can I’ve watched on I follow, though the connections not always great. If they sorted out...

Is the Championship bigger now then it was when we were last there?

I think now, with the way we are run on a relatively even keel, and with the current situation we might be able to do better. We aren’t going to have big debts like some of the clubs in the championship, so we could have a good crack at it

Is the Championship bigger now then it was when we were last there?

I’m not sure if it’s my perspective that has changed since being in Leagues one and two, but I feel the championship is so much bigger now than 8 years ago, and it almost seems like it has become as big of a league as the Premiership was when we were at the top of the football pyramid.

    Happy League Champions Day

I think that trip to Wembley and that win was the turning point. The worst season we’ve ever had as a club, four manage, certain relegation yet over 40 thousand fans turned out and caused one hell of a racket that day. That was the start of something!

    Happy League Champions Day

I agree, if he wanted higher level of football he should’ve gone to the championship.

    Happy League Champions Day

just the amount of noise being made by those who want to play on. I’ve not heard much if anything from those who want the season to end, and I feel that Tranmere et al may try and bully some of those on the fence

I have a horrible feeling the vote maybe narrowly in favour of playing on.

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

How about the damage to the game it could cause if after several weeks out you start again and there’s some freakish results because of the massive break. For example we’ve lost 3 all season, say we loose 6 and don’t even qualify for play offs, or Rotherham loose all 10 and finish mid table when...

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

I might have missed this, but if there is weighted/ home and away points per game do we still win the league/ get promoted?
