Looking forward to the season being over for 2 reasons- 1) We might know where we are playing next season, if indeed we are. 2) At last Burge will finally be shown the door.

If it goes that far (to the EFL meeting in April) I can’t see a majority of clubs voting that they would want us booted out-surely not?

Na, think it’s longevity of service or something like that. That’s another thing I don’t understand-people have surely been voting her in for however long she has been a councillor-over 20 years is it? Must have done some good somewhere to get the same gig again and again for that amount of time?

I guess the only people to ask are the constituents in whichever part of the City that she represented then.

I don’t know much about local politics (not living in the area) but to say she is wholly responsible for the Ricoh arena would be pushing it a bit far in my opinion. Surely that would have been a majority vote before anything was finalised? As a side note wasn’t she the figurehead responsible...

I remember some of his abysmal performances in that terrible team that went down into L2. He has really moved on though and matured and I suppose a year at that level made him more of a player, ie the one we are seeing now. If he gets a move I wish him all the best, still not sure he will cut it...
