Do you want to discuss boring politics?

No one is talking about it more than the Tories. Despite their anti wokerarty front they ain’t half pushing that they’re meeting quotas whether that be female PM’s, first non white PM, most diverse cabinet in history etc. etc. it’s political correctness gone mad I tell you.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Cancel that good decision. In a rare moment of decency Rees-Mogg has done what’s best for the country and resigned from government. You would hope Sunak would have jogged him on anyway but…

Just to counter that due to the intellectual purge of 2019 he probably has no choice.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

It sounds like he’s made his first sensible decision. Rees-Mogg is out of government.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Hopefully we’ve now seen the back of fan club politics and can now get on with the business of real politics as we have two perceived grey men in power and in opposition. They’ll be judged on application and policy rather than would they make a good children’s entertainer.

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

Are ACL in the situation of buy them before admin and take on the debt, buy them out of administration and wipe the debt clean? Presumably then the lease reverts to the original term and an extended lease will have to be purchased from CCC again? If that’s right then why would anyone buy them...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

So the good news 1) Boris’ bullshit got him nowhere for a change. 2) it’s a big moment and proud moment in UK history regardless of political leaning our first PM of colour should be something to celebrate. 3) if we’re going to be stuck with a Tory government for another two years the best...

One of Mordaunts backers has just publicly switched to Sunak. Looks like the writing is on the wall.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Only problem with that Boris isn’t looking likely to win his current seat so there’s a fair chance he won’t be in opposition. More importantly it works on the assumption that Boris would be willing to put the hard work in that’s required to be an opposition leader.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Isn’t it strange that Mordaunt is still struggling to get her numbers to grow despite their apparently now being 102 up for grabs. It’s almost as if Boris lied about having the exact number required before pulling out. You would have thought that the Boris cult would be piling on Mordaunt to...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

I think we all realise that we’re in the shit and will all have to pay. The difference between the Tories and Labour is Labour plan to make dealing with that shit fairer. Actual windfall tax on windfall profits, closing tax loopholes including non dom status and charity status for private...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Twitter is ful of people claiming Sunak has performed a coup. Err it was Boris who tried to bullshit his was to 100 backers, even trying to get Mordaunt to withdraw and back him with the lie. Sunak is there on his own merit. If there was an attempted coup it was Boris attempting it. He lost, get...
