SP guest speaker at trust meeting tonight.

Thanks LAST. I'm a fan of SP...always have been. The poor run was poor but it was after a good run of no defeats in something like 7 games. As others have pointed out, he's no doubt passionate about succeeding here and if he does that to further his own career, I have no issues with that as...

SP guest speaker at trust meeting tonight.

Good post Lamtarra. Were there any specifics you could share on the following subjects: * The goalkeeper situation? * Any other players likely to come in such as defenders, centre midfielders? * What was his thoughts on the Wasps situation? * Did he give any indication on CCFC getting the...

    Sad state of affairs

To the OP...your location is South Leics so isn't there just as much of a chance of a Leicestershire scout being there as a CCFC one? How do we know they weren't looking at other kids teams? I think our Youth set up in the past 10-15 years has been one of the better ones around to be honest...

    Cov Rugby/Wasps

** Snigger, snigger ** Kudos to those giving local sport the thumbs up. I just can't bear Rugby though. At Uni many years ago, there was a divide between footballers and rugby that's stuck with me to this day. That and seeing them drink each others piss. But like I say, fair play to those who...

    Orient Match Thread

From a glass half full point of view, we've taken 4 points from the last 6 and despite apparent periods of shite, we've shown decent character to come back and get those points. Work still to be done but some positives. WM

Interesting views on Wasps games at Ricoh.....

I completely agree with Stupot07. There's an element of hypocrisy in Covstu's opening few sentences there (and I pretty much always agree with Stu and his opinions) WM

BBC's MOTD's disgusting comment about CCFC.

A friend of mine posted a picture on FB once of an indicator with a caption that simply said - FAO BMW Drivers. I thought it was quite apt and totally agree with your thoughts on them!

BBC's MOTD's disgusting comment about CCFC.

It's supposedly the Top 50 FA goals and it only goes up to 40? Am I missing something (other than 10 FA goals)?! And if Houchens header is not in the remaining 10 (wherever they are)...I'm writing a letter!

Interesting views on Wasps games at Ricoh.....

Agree Norm. 50% and I'd be alright about it I reckon. I just get the impression that some people are happy Wasps own 50% of a stadium because Sisu are wankers. No logic in not wanting your own club to own 100% of their own stadium. Here's hoping that 50% comes off or our future is proper bleak...

Interesting views on Wasps games at Ricoh.....

FFS!! You're missing my point. All I'm saying is that I don't want a fucking rugby club owning a ground that was built for us. Regardless of whether we should've bought it in the last 7 years or whether we were fucking camping in Northampton for 18 months. What part of that doesn't compute...

Interesting views on Wasps games at Ricoh.....

I never mentioned anything to do with whose fault it is. You said it seemed that no one wanted the move on SBT. I said rightly so for a valid reason. Regardless of rights or wrongs, people should want the Ricoh to be owned by the club and no one else. I cannot fathom why anyone would think any...

Interesting views on Wasps games at Ricoh.....

Quite rightly for a number of reasons...mainly, I'd rather my own football club own a stadium built for us, than some fucking rugby club. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Aaron Martin coming in. Clarke going to Yeovil

That was my first thought as well. Isn't he at Brentford? Not sure how much he's been involved.

Yeah, not a bad guess I suppose.

    Government to back Franchise

Keeping an existing football team in the City where they're currently located would deliver more revenue p.a. than a nomadic rugby team coming in from 80/90 miles away.
