Match Thread ⚽️ Coventry City vs Cardiff City Match Thread - Thursday 29th Dec

That is true. It could all change in January if we get taken over. But what a couple of recent results have shown is we’re capable of grinding draws out. Hopefully regardless of what may or may not happen in January that will be enough to secure championship status next season.

A points a point. As things stand I’d take another 10 results like that one. We’re most likely 10 points from safety.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

You’ve literally voted in a referendum that by your own admission didn’t deliver (just in the brief of the referendum) what you voted for. Reason being. It’s politicians that decided what yours and everyone else’s vote meant. That enabled Boris as PM and Boris to deliver brexit and all the polls...

Ironically it’s FP who thinks that Starmer can’t be trusted. Even more ironic given he’s put his faith in the Tories.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

They’re vulnerable because we left the EU. They’re not even hiding it, they’re being very brazen about. you can label me a clown all you like but only one of us has aligned ourselves with UKIP and by doing so you’re the one that enabled the Tory government we’ve enjoyed since 2016. Your vote in...

Oh come on. Facts are devastating for the counter argument. Play fair.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

You’re rather naively assuming that your definition of harmful mirrors what the sycophants Boris put in there have as a definition as harmful. They think of harmful in the terms of the effects on big business not the common man.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

You mean the Lords that’s been flooded with dinosaur brexit fundamentalists like Ian Botham? People need to wake up. You put your faith in Ian Botham if you like but I think the majority of the country are waking up to what brexit really means.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Didn’t Rishi Sunak in his hustings to become Tory leader say he would review it? The answer is yes by the way. Dominic Raab openly doesn’t believe in it, Rees-Mogg openly doesn’t believe in holiday pay and sees brexit as an opportunity to scrap it, Tory back benchers, party members and the right...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

The equality act of 2010 was brought in to replicate an EU directive into UK law. That is the relationship between UK law and EU. Or should I say was. You voted to do away with that.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

You seem to think that the Tories will never get back in again. Hence I said a yo yo of workers rights. The government are looking to remove Direct Effect. This is what protects amongst other things equal pay. This was previously protected under Article 157 as EU members. I quote “EU countries...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Once again your faith in the Tory party flabbergasts me. You seemed to have learned nothing from the last year let alone the last 12. You’re so entrenched in your ideology you’ve had to result to defending the Tories intellect.

IIRC correctly it’s a skills shortage not a labour shortage as such.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

What you fail to acknowledge or understand is that EU law is about protecting its members laws on everything from tax to human rights to workers rights. Our laws may have been created in the UK but they were protected by EU laws. That protection has gone and the Tory government you helped to...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

While on the subject of the own goal they’re trying to sell us another brexit win, pork exports to South Korea. Sounds good until you look at the reality. First of all they’re saying it could be worth £1M over five years, or £200K a year. Wow wee. Slight problem, Britain is loosing £4M a year...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

So what happens when the Tories get in again? They undo everything that Labour gave back to the working classes without the EU providing the bottom rung of the ladder. Leave has basically put us into a perpetual slide and climb of worker’s rights. Well done.
