Thats the problem. The message gets lost with so much crap being thrown about. It needs a consistent message that stands up to scrutiny. Its easy for SISU to shrug off things that are clearly false while a big section of the fanbase whip themselves into a frenzy. Give it a couple of weeks...

Promotion party.

Pompey are doing a thing where you can pay £150 and have your photo taken as part of the squad when they do the team photo. They should do something like that for the JH fund.

Sounds like a cracking signing. A youngster who Saints fans are saying could be in their squad. Signed for us because we offered more than others and have him on a long term deal. Similar to the Jones signing. Better to wait and get this sort of signing than rush out and get another Ramage or Hunt

So in reality how would that work? The club are currently putting more than the minimum requirement into the academy which doesn't indicate to me they are about to close it down. £600K a year is going in for that we run an academy costing over £1m. Move to cat 3 and the FA grant drops a lot...

The canoe slalom looks fun. At one of the old Winter Olympics sites in Canada you can have a go at bobsleigh. Would love to do that. Obviously you have a professional with you doing all the work but would still be good to do.

Also the type of pool in the new place in town is rarely profitable yet the council are planning to use the non-existent profit to cover the losses forecast on the pool at Higgs!

If, as seems highly likely, we have to leave Higgs for me the best bet is Warwick uni. Had a look at their facilities and their plans at the weekend and I don't think it would take too much to bring that up to standard. Plus there's a lot more uni owned land around where the existing and planned...

You have to laugh really. Taxpayers money being used to provide facilities for the franchise after all those posts on here about how its down to SISU and no one else to help our academy.

Odds on the gym being used by Wasps as well? Just as well we're making sure there's top facilities for the massively popular water polo.

But how much can a revamp cost? Lets be more realistic and look at a 50 year life span. That would mean the new facilities could cover 50 years running cost and have £22m left over for a refurb! Of course that's oversimplistic but are you confident the council have drilled down on the options...

I've just had a look at Wigans academy on Google Maps and its much bigger than Ryton.

How are you re-jigging at Ryton to fit anything in? We don't own the whole site just the lodge and two pitches. There's an extremely limited amount of land owned by the club that's not in use already.
