    Watford v Oxford

Off to both of these but it looks like the Watford end on Tuesday night. So what do we realistically want? The cup win or the 3 points on Saturday? 3 points for me every time and I think a few may be “rested”

Indeed-always said it that the best referees are always shouting loudest from the stands/sidelines. What leagues/Country Fa were you associated with? Our paths may have crossed over time?

L5 Birmingham and also affiliated to Worcester County FA too.

    Female refs and Coventry city

They are most weekends. We get asked to go as assistants on womens leagues all the time on Sundays.

Yes the ground “OUTSIDE” the touchline means not on the pitch side! So if you like where the assistant referee stands is the “OUTSIDE” of the touchline.

Yes-the ground outside the touch line means not on the “pitch side” of the line. So in Layman’s terms the feet are on the “crowd/outside” area of the pitch. Does that make sense?

Trust me-that would be a foul throw. I know this as I am a referee. Maybe the wording needs to be changed as maybe it reads wrongly.

No he didn’t say that, he said at the time he knew it was more than likely we would be at St Andrews but would prefer the Ricoh.

Oh, you mean the good people/volunteers who give up their time so the kids can play football when nobody else will put themselves forward?

He said “most of the foot can be on the pitch” which it can’t. If most of the foot was over the line (on the pitch) that would be a foul throw. I would be giving that all day long.

McFadzean is a Sheffield Utd fan, said that one of the main reasons he came was Robins and knew that they were looking likely hat it was going to be Birmingham and not the Ricoh. Said that St Andrews “feels like home” and atmosphere is generally good. Was surprised that Allen chose to come here...

Thought McFadzean would have been a very confident character judging by his demeanour on the pitch but he was very quite and seemed a bit nervous. John Williams and Chris Marsh were good value though! Bobby Gould at the next meeting too.

You have contradicted yourself. “Behind the touchline” means the outer and not the inner of the pitch.
