Back to being the biggest club in Coventry?

Yes there is because the bigger the pile the bigger return. Lets say you lend me £1K and I can't repay it. What is the best option for you: 1) write off the £1K, you receive nothing now and nothing in the future 2) keep the debt but don't demand immediate payment, you don't get the money now...

Back to being the biggest club in Coventry?

Written off or converted to shares? They are two very different things. If the debt has been written off then it no longer exists. If it has been converted to shares then it will be down to what price SISU will sell the shares at. So if they've converted £60m of debt into shares but will only...

Back to being the biggest club in Coventry?

Or written off. Most likely if and when the club is sold a pence in the pound offer will be made on the debt, as when SISU took over. Having the debt still on the books is to their advantage when the other option is just to write it off any not receive a penny.

Ryan Kent to (actually) be recalled

That's a pretty good result for us then. We get compensation for a player that would have gone in a couple of weeks anyway. Of all our loans we could lose Kent is the one we will miss least. He has raw talent for sure but its debatable if he's ready for our first team yet, let alone Liverpools!

Back to being the biggest club in Coventry?

It was along those lines. So lets say Robinson was owed £15m (totally made up figure BTW) but accepted £1.5m to walk away SISU only actually paid £1.5m but the £15m debt stayed on the books but was now owed to SISU. It was the money to ACL that had to be paid wasn't it? Hence why they didn't...

Back to being the biggest club in Coventry?

Why have we suddenly changed from talking about management fees to raking over the dodgy administration process again? You have to stop thinking of CCFC having debt as CCFC isn't a single entity, you have to look at the multiple companies involved. From a quick glance at that document Coventry...

    Crewe (Away) Match Thread

The weather is awful down here. Any chance of it being called off? If its as bad up there as it is here could make the game a bit of a free for all. Hard to play a nice passing game in torrential rail and gale force winds!

Ryan Kent to (actually) be recalled

Inglethorpe may have arranged the loans in the first instance but it is Klopp that people are quoting as being against the loan system. If you take that through to its logical conclusion they will stop sending players out on loan so the question remains. What will they do with all the extra...

Back to being the biggest club in Coventry?

So in summary there's zero evidence that SISU are taking money out and the likes have OSB have stated they aren't yet you are going to choose to ignore that in the hope that there's something in a future set of accounts that supports your point of view.

Back to being the biggest club in Coventry?

That's hardly the same thing as money going out of CCFC into SISU's bank account.

What else do you want on matchday? That's pretty much the same section you get if you go to Wembley to watch England!

Pompey's store makes ours look massive. Its outsourced to Sports Direct so has general sports stuff in it as well. Like ours its not actually at the ground, its on the ground floor of a block of flats near the ground.

Back to being the biggest club in Coventry?

So at no point does it say they wanted it for free  Your question about management fees would be better off directed at OSB. He has examined the accounts and stated that no management fees have been paid out. Weren't the management fees listed ways of moving money / debt around...

Joe Cole & Bigi in talks about perm deals

Are those figures right? That would mean in 17 seasons in the PL he's averaged 7.5 complete games a season.

How about a permanent CCFC exhibit at the Herbert and a small shop / ticket outlet to go along with it.

With regard to ticketing they know it is an issue: Sounds like a case of patch it up as best we can this season and then replace it over the summer.

Didn't the Blaze have one that was also a general ice sports shop as well? As with our city centre store closed down as it wasn't making enough and now is done online and at games.
