    closest game this season

Portsmouth for me, Fratton Park is a quarter of a mile away. And there's no parking restrictions, bloody nightmare when they are at home. Closest this season is Millwall, 75 miles. In the time I've been living here we're played Pompey, Saints, Brighton and Bournemouth but there's not too many...

Back to being the biggest club in Coventry?

Eh? SISU, Avro, Otium, whatever random name they are using, are owed somewhere in the region of £60m. Whoever buys the club will still owe that, same as ACL still owed CCC when they were taken over by Wasps. Now I don't believe anyone will pay that debt back as part of a purchase or will take...

Aren't you suggesting SISU sell the horse for £3K?

Back to being the biggest club in Coventry?

Doesn't really work like that. Anyway the £2m is a meaningless number. If SISU were to sell us for £2m it would be with the debt still in place. What you're really looking at is someone paying a £1 for the club and making SISU / AVRO a pence in the pound offer on the debt. No one in their right...

Just go down Foleshill Road / Longford Road. There's loads of places to park there, a lot of them cheaper than £5. Only a short walk to the ground. Never had any problem getting a space or getting away quickly.

Would be fantastic to get over 17K. Shame the Telegraph haven't mentioned the ticket sales, it can tend to snowball when people think they're missing out on a big occasion. Fingers crossed, could persuade a few more to turn up on the day.

You have to be wumming, nobody can be that stupid. Coventry City move temporarily 35 miles away. Its a disgrace, noone goes as they think it is wrong for the club to not play in its home city, thousands march through the street protesting. Wasps move 90 miles permanently. Its fantastic, people...

    Ricoh Arena train station update

London Midland say they told the council right at the start there would be no additional trains available to run a matchday service so why did the council keep going on about how great it would be for CCFC and Wasps when the station opened? Even last year they were still talking about people who...

Confident for this one. Sounds like Stokes will be fit and Arma will get a hat trick to celebrate signing for the season.

    Ricoh Arena train station update

Again that is about managing expectations. If thats the case they should have been making that clear. Say we're building it now or the grant goes and then when the line is upgraded there will be matchday services.

Official January transfer window for CCFC

He might have changed his mind after the performance the other night! Can't see how playing games like that is helping their development more than going out on loan.

    Ricoh Arena train station update

CCC should have managed expectations. Instead of telling everyone how great it would be for CCFC and Wasps they should have been saying it was only for shoppers but hopefully at the future, when the line gets upgraded, it can be used for supporters.

    Ricoh Arena train station update

Lucas and co have been shouting about how great it will be for Wasps and CCFC for fans to be able to get the train to matches yet the council run SAG have said the station has to be closed on matchdays. London Midland have clearly stated that their position hasn't changed from day one and the...

Eating after the game - anyone tried the hotel?

There was Singers but that might be a bit fancy for a kids birthday. That's if its even still open as its being rebranded by Wasps and being made more like a rugby club house whatever that means. Not sure there's much else apart from Costa actually at the ground.

You might not be aware but there are photos of us playing at the Ricoh that exist from before Wasps logos were plastered all over the place.

Back to being the biggest club in Coventry?

What does being on the radar even mean? If you're talking in terms of sponsorship or advertising then, in common with most football clubs, you're looking at local companies past a handful of national deals. I can't imagine we're off the radar to any of them. So what else are you looking at...

MTV has an average audience share of 0.1% Their ratings are in freefall as their target demographic happily goes to the likes of YouTube to watch whatever music video they want when they want.

    Armstrong

I think there's a league rule that anyone who's on loan until the end of the season can't be recalled. Need to check if that is only if they sign at the start of the season.
