Hmm....I thought we were all calling for penalty against Stead after the game when we saw the replay and highlights. I am very much in the camp of it having to be deliberate, but can see why that one today was given and though it was harsh, I don't see it as an outrage or that controversial to...

Why were we all calling for a pen in the home leg of the play-off against Notts County when the ball hit Stead's arm in the penalty area?

Yeah, there is the myth right there. It is not just about being deliberate. An arm being in an unnatural position is also a factor.

Fans is stupid! Based on that one, single Champions League game, some Liverpool fans were saying that the keeper, Karius, should never ever play for the club again. The overreaction to things these days in general is ridiculous to say the least.

The Kane one however was just bad refereeing. I think the ref today just didn't see this one properly. Once he saw the replay his decision was almost instant.

Think this one does make sense and you can see from the replay the ref is not in the best position to see it originally. I sort of don't see that as being that controversial here. Very unfortunate , but can see why it was given and can see why the ref needed the replay

Hmm, my views are well known on deliberate and accidental handball situations, but the thing there was his arm was up and it did totally effect the ball travelling towards goal. Can fully see why the ref gave it. What was daft however was the yellow card. How can that be seen as being deliberate?

    VAR tonight

Teams are already reacting badly towards it and also in their demanding for it. Only a captain should be allowed to talk tomorrow ref about any potential VAR incident and then once the decision of any VAR panel has been made, any further protest towards the ref should result in a yellow card...

He really should change it. It makes sense to bring in Loftus-Cheek for Alli, Rose for Young and possibly Rashford for Sterling.

Such a shame. Such a skilful little player and scored two of the best City goals ever (Everton donkey kick and the one from almost on the half way line against Burnley).

Completely agree with that. He's a player I admire too, but for England it just doesn't happen for him. A very interesting and telling statistic re his back to goal, if that is indeed true.
