Why do you even care?

I'd like to see Ben Turner succeed in his football career. I'd like us to stay up and improve. I manage the two without my brain exploding. What has suddely turned to make people bitch about every little thing here?

I can't think of a single reason why they wouldn't expect an easy win.

I think by exciting they just mean there's more drama and more at stake than our usual aimless drifting between lower-mid table and flirting with relegation.

The run-in to come may be relatively exciting, but I'm another who'd far rather have nothing to play for. If we were to beat relegation last-minute like we used to there would be a sense of relief, but it'd be married to a horrible sense of what it is that now renders us pleased with a season.

You seem overly keen to squash the natural optimism people are enjoying after an unlikely win, to be honest.

We're three points away from catching teams in safety (they have games in hand but when you're down where we all are it's far from given that they'll yield points). Whether it's likely or not, staying up is still an achievable possibility, and most if not all here would like it to happen, so...
