Marcus Hall agrees to be manager

Imagine watching a game live on Ceefax now, waiting for page 2/3 to see if there's a change in the score. Would have been better today, come to think of it.

Marcus Hall agrees to be manager

INT: Hall household bedroom. Marcus rises sleepy-eyed and switches off the alarm. His partner turns over. Ms Hall: Be safe out there! Think of our villa by the sea, one more day and we live the life of Riley. Marcus: I'll be fine, it's only Watford. (CUT TO MASSIVE DEATH MONTAGE, SCORED BY...

Of course they do, you gibbering idiot.

Marcus Hall agrees to be manager

I still reckon he should have been given a few minutes in that disastrous game against Watford at the end of the season though. I can see Coleman's logic that you wouldn't want Hall's last game with us to be that shitfest, but I think we can take it as read that he would have scored at least...

Marcus Hall agrees to be manager

Was Hall at Forest at some point? I'm sure it was him, might not have actually played a game though.

Marcus Hall agrees to be manager

Would Hermann still count this among his relegations? Is he even still actually under contract to us come to think of it?

What will the Ricoh be like next year

You'll never find out either way, so what do you care?

    Coventry v Bristol Matchday thread

I think if Southampton are confirmed up by then, they'll want to put on a show to thank their home support for the season. I expect a defeat in that game, certainly.

It's over... Here is the maths

That's not maths, that's you predicting the future.

Do not give Platt a new contract

Fuck off glen, there's a good boy.

    Can you blame Thorn today?

I have absolutely no idea, but if a coach has no plan B regardless of circumstance it's a hell of a worry.

    Has Thorn resigned yet???

Why would he resign now, at a time where everyone needs to concentrate and work hard on the task in hand? We've got some bizarre fans.

    Remeber what Orange Ken said

Welcome back Glen. why've you not been around so much recently?

    Coventry v Bristol Matchday thread

I guess one solace is that it's not a dull time to be a Cov fan, even if a (probably) depressing one.

    fatty

I'm not sure I'd even go that far. He had the occasional game where he looked like the player he should, but he flattered to deceive more often than not. I think he had more than enough time to be honest, and if he's not even professional enough to stay in shape as per his job requirement, I...

    Can you blame Thorn today?

Of course you can blame the manager to some degree. If the manager is without any blame at all, what's he doing there?

    Coventry v Bristol Matchday thread

The worst part is that I'd already got used to the idea of League One, then we hit form and I'd grown accustomed to what I've heard described as 'optimism' (might be a foreign word). Now I'm looking at the deficit and seeing Bristol's fixtures and thinking it's far from over, but then we've...

He did get games in his four years here, we're not seriously under the impression that he was due to come good are we? What's the time limit on waiting for that to happen?

    Last kick

Stoppage time is always announced as a 'minimum of X minutes' so he'd be fine in that situation also.

    Last kick

I think that's more the sensible and logical approach than an enforced rule. Even stoppage time itself is basically down to referee interpretation.
