I do believe that the saying 'Do a Mowbray' has now officially been accepted into the English language.
In fact, I quite often accuse my wife of 'doing a Mowbray's and might use it at Sainsbury's later.
The main reason I dislike them is that one son smokes at least 40 a day and the daughter at least 20 a day and the daughter has a little girl aged 3. They don't smoke in the house, but do smoke in the car.
The one son is an alcoholic too. Always drunk 24/7.
They're just always rowing and the son constantly gets deliberately locked out and has his clothes tossed out and the dad often speeds off in a huff and they are always wanting to borrow standard household items that every household should have and I am always fixing their car for them, even...
Well that was it with this family in the OP. They were slightly odd, but everyone I have spoken to who knew them didn't expect anything like this at all. Dodgy DVD territory at best.
