    Coronation

I was born in 73. I remember the 80’s clearly. The hooliganism for me like many was a turnoff when it came to football. I’m lucky I started watching in a different time, if things had have continued like they were I like many, especially families would never have gone. I certainly wouldn’t have...

    Coronation

People seem to forget that for a period of time some people didn’t go to watch the game even, they went for a fight/riot. Football was little more than a vehicle to do that.

    Coronation

It’s a historically accurate take. English football fans were the worst hooligans in the world at the time. It might have come to a head at Heysel but it was a long time coming. Maybe you’re too young to remember what it was like but I’m not. It got that bad in domestic English football that...

    Coronation

It was the straw that broke the camel’s back. English football fans had been a menace and embarrassment for years, home and abroad. It wasn’t our result on the last day of the season that sent Sunderland down it was the culmination of results over the season. Hence you’ve gone full Sunderland...

It’s more North Korea. Aren’t we meant to believe that the royal family can trace their bloodline back to God?

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Doesn’t say much about the strength of our society when you can’t protest peacefully. The people in power are very fragile. Snowflakes.

    Coronation

Thank god we don’t have just 3 TV channels anymore so I can avoid this shit. I’m not necessarily a republican either, just not interested in the slightest.

    USSR invades Ukraine.

Russia is now blaming the US for the attack on the Kremlin. Just laughable. It’s clear that the damp squib was either a false flag or a homegrown attack. The US has obviously denied it so it will probably our fault tomorrow.

    USSR invades Ukraine.

Like someone else has pointed out it looks like a firework. Ukraine has effective drones long range drones capable of doing serious damage. This wasn’t one of them.

    USSR invades Ukraine.

Also how do you define a political party. A quick look at the list and some of them amount to little more than pound shop National Actions. A self proclaimed political party banned in the UK.

    USSR invades Ukraine.

I honestly don’t know but the fact is there is opposition parties, they do have free and democratic elections. There is no comparison to the democratic process in Russia simply because there isn’t one in Russia. You’re trying to bestow an equivalence on Ukraine with Russia where there is non.

    USSR invades Ukraine.

And that’s proven to be a mistake. We’ve tried to appease Putin for years and it’s never worked. Why you think it will work now is beyond me.
  20. skybluetony176

    USSR invades Ukraine.

11 more opposition parties than Putin ever had. Weren’t they banned for being pro the invaders? Understandable under the circumstances you would think. How many have mysteriously fell out of windows? Or accidentally drank radioactive tea? How many opposition leaders are in jail? It’s a bit of a...
