And what was that? He went for about £2m to Huddersfield.

Just going off what Saddle said about those two. TBH I suspect contracts are entirely separate from the playing side and seen like an investment looking at them. The strategy seems to be keep everyone with a couple of years even if you want rid of them.

Yeah that’s what I mean. They’re not reported as a plus one and just seem to get extended when targets are hit.

I believe so. Seems the ones in the players favour aren’t mentioned the same way and are auto triggered like Bidwell and Saka.

He’s apparently got a year option so might not be a rush to decide if he doesn’t force it.

As much chance of us signing Cole Palmer with Sisu in charge at the time.

It’s what separates a PL player from a Champ player IMO: can they do it every week? It’s a league of talented but inconsistent players.

I think there’s just a percentage of people of all types who get off on smearing shit/period blood on the walls of public toilets.

We were down the bottom not so long ago. This league is mostly form and confidence not quality setting the sides apart IMO.

Unfortunately we only get to play them over one. Wilder was saying the exact things you are just before Sheff Utd lost to Plymouth “they’re down there for a reason”. That’s not how football works and Coventry City fans of all people should know that.

I just think we need slightly different profile players to what we have in Allen Eccles and Torp. I like Torp, but he’s not quite the back up Rudoni you want, if anything Sheaf is the backup Grimes and then you want some dynamism and energy in there that Eccles/Allen is probably the closest to...

Bit of a bogey team apparently. And play off teams stumble too. I’d just rather play someone with nothing to play for than everything to play for. Don’t think that’s controversial

Luton fair enough. Leeds could be promoted and they have Preston with nothing to play for. I think as a three ours are toughest with three teams all scrapping for their lives but that’s just me. Form and attitude matters most at this stage IMO.

Think I’d keep Eccles over Allen, really should replace both tho if money were no object.

Wednesday fans say they are. Manager knows he’s not here next season. Players don’t give a fuck. We’ve all seen it before. I’d much rather play them than any of our games. Think we’ve got the toughest run in TBH
