Didn't we have a thread on this before. Edit: yes we did http://www.skybluestalk.co.uk/threads/49189-Best-Curry-Houses-in-Cov

    U18/U21 Development Thread

I did wonder that when there was all the complaints when they first said they were shutting it. Never really found an answer. Can't see that it makes a huge difference, not like they could never practice in a 50m pool if they travelled.

In more good news for us according to the CT Higgs Trust have offloaded the Higgs Centre to the Coventry & Warwickshire Award Trust. They are planning to put a 50m pool in to replace the one in the city centre that is closing. The pool could be where the indoor pitch is, without that we lose...

    Walking Dead Season 6

They seem to cherry pick bits out of the comic rather than sticking too it religiously. I'm with Nick, someone kill Carl. Reckon Rick and Daryl are safe - they wouldn't risk killing either of them off. Anyone else is up for grabs, for it to really have any value its got to be Maggie, Glen or...

    Random Substitute Today?

Doesn't even look like the same bloke. Nice to have our players not having to worry about being mistaken for a homeless person!

Suspect so. The idea is decent though, and it would help with lack of cashflow over the summer.

Exactly this. If someone posts that SISU are useless or Fisher is an idiot you get a few posts of people agreeing and then the thread dies. Everyone agrees so there's no debate to be had. However whenever anything about Wasps is mentioned there are a few regulars who immediately post to justify...

    Tales of The Spion Kop

Same here. If we'd be able to build similar new stands to the East Stand on the other 3 sides of the ground we would have had no need to move and could have done it over a number of years avoiding the need for a huge outlay.

The club have acknowledged the problems with ticketing and said they are changing to a new system over the summer. That's why it doesn't need a massive discussion.

Probably because when these things get mentioned everyone agrees and nobody starts jumping up and down saying SISU are the greatest businessmen ever and should be admired. However say anything against Wasps and that's exactly what you get. Anything that could be seen as a negative against Wasps...

Yes, there will be at least the Community Sheild and Rugby Challenge Cup Final.

What? Much more football and rugby than gigs at both grounds. Emirates is, they had no issue staging a round robin pre-season tournament a couple of years ago after multiple gigs had taken place in the summer. Not sure what you're both failing to grasp here. Other clubs have their grounds...

But why is that an issue for us and not elsewhere? There's 9 gigs currently scheduled for Wembley this summer, and I believe at least another one yet to be added. Isn't impacting football or rugby being played there.

At no point have I said everything is good at CCFC. I'm addressing the particular point you have made. What good will extra entertainment do before and after matches. People go to football to watch football - that's it. Unless you have some evidence to show otherwise it is a complete waste of...

What is a full match day experience supposed to mean. Most people want to turn up just before the game, watch the match and then leave. We don't need to be wasting money on the sort of rubbish Wasps put on. Besides which it would benefit Wasps more than us. They'd charge us more and get the F&B...

So what you're saying is unlike every other club in the country our pitch is of such a poor standard that it can't be used for pre-season friendlies, charity matches etc.

    No more season tickets

At a guess they will take 2 or 3 months upfront so you're always ahead of where you would be if buying individual tickets. Depending on the ticketing system they will then either add it to an electronic ticket or mail you tickets.
