Think Mowbray makes a good point. Was scoring for fun in the U18s but not so much in the U21s so why would he move straight into the first team. Also says he's been told he'd be likely to get a pre-season with the first team next year and if he impressed would stay in the squad.

You can't blame the player for taking an offer of more money. That's why the rules need changing. In an ideal world I'd get rid of agents, have all transferred handled by someone like the PFA. Agents aren't thinking about the players best interests or their development, they're thinking of their %.
