It would have been better for them to still retain hope at this stage but be relegated anyway imo

The ownership status is irrelevant to it really, at the point the stadium was designed it was designed for use by us

Let's be honest though, televised football isn't a post 2003 phenomena. Just another example of the complete lack of thought that went into the design of the arena

His PPG was 0.83 at the point of being sacked so based on that they'd have been relegated even with him in charge, albeit still alive at this point.

    2 games to go

I've got a bad feeling about it. Ironically, it was Millwall and Blackburn occupying the play off spots which we stole at the last in 2023 and they both present imminent danger to us as well as Middlesbrough. If we perform anything like the last few away games (and there is no suggestion to say...

Kitching probably attempted as many crosses as Sakamoto

We're a much better side with Sheaf in, one of the players we have prepared to take the ball in a tight position and a more progressive passer. The former attribute is needed against any team sitting relatively deep to draw them out.

Real edge of the seat stuff at Eastlands and poor old Villa concede an injury time winner

    Jamie Allen Assault

Jay Mceveley on Lameiras is another one that sticks in the memory. I'm surprised the Safri one on Healy isn't featured in Sunderland's fatwa against us, but then again I suppose it evens out the Summerbee one. IIRC Healy was never the same player (he was decent too in his loan spell here).

The amount of votes for Biamou 😂

    Can anybody play the drums?

Should imagine that it is statutory rape, which is having sex with a girl under the age of consent and unable to consent, rather than having sex with a woman who does not give consent.

Wilson is a terrible keeper but even I have realised by now that he's probably our best bet at this point. He's played in the play offs at least.

[ The back 4 isn't settled, we have kept two clean sheets in 11 games and conceded 3 against the bottom club today.

    Ellis simms

I wouldn't play that way away from home TBF

    5 at the back?

It was exactly the same against Sheffield United.. Even Hull which was a decent performance we could easily have conceded more from losing possession and being wide open.

    5 at the back?

We've won once away from home with this system, drew one and lost 3. Those games were against teams in the bottom 6. It's not working, it's not a lazy trope. Not kept a clean sheet and conceded 11 goals.

We were fine in the 5-3-2 to win at teams out of form eg Blackburn, Swansea. Lampard has insisted in playing this 4-3-3 and this is the result.
