    Travel to Games

We're truly an international team. I'd like Man Utd to recount their number of fans if they're going to claim themselves as most-supported. We've got that lad in Japan too.

I think Ricoh may have extended the original deal, I'm sure someone posted that up on here a while back. EDIT: Here it is

    Mo farah!

More golds, the boxer beat the Irish guy. Tom Daley's still in with a shout too.

    Mo farah!

That was an absolutely electric finish. I thought the other fella was going to overtake but Mo just gave him a little extra taste of his dust.

    bristol rovers, is it today?

He does have a point though, it'd make more sense to go straight to the official site than ask a question and wait for an answer here.

    Bad language at City games

I'm not a huge swearer myself (as in the stronger end of the scale, 'shit' is too fun a word to count) but if people want to, let them. If they're screaming blue murder right next to little kids it's a bit odd, but the vast majority don't seem to do so.

    CET: Season tickets down 25%

It's telling that a number of posts in this thread are just trying to shout at other people here. Lucky the club itself doesn't have any trouble to worry about so we can all just bitch at each other.

    Hate the Olympics thread!

Every sport has dicks, bar none. The reason you're more aware of footballers is because that's what you follow and that's what is most publicised.

    Hate the Olympics thread!

It's not valid, it's a cliched whine about people put up on a pedestal purely so there's a better vantage point to knock them down. For instance, a footballer can rarely just play poorly, it has to be that they don't give a shit or don't have passion or any other meaningless excuse. Look at how...

    Hate the Olympics thread!

It's never long before resentment of professional footballers rears its head.

    The bolt

As they're already his records, I guess he can space it out really like when he set them on the lesser stage the year after the Olympics. It's insane to think that there's a sprinter who can pick and choose when he runs a race faster than any human in history.

    CCFC on tour email

It strikes me more as wanting to appeal to people relishing a host of new grounds than it being a nine-month victory lap.
