It would depend on both parties being genuine in what they want and say. I appreciate that and did consider the political angle before the OP, but it really would be a fantastic solution and prevent a huge waste of a former resource.

Gym, classrooms obviously, would need some conversion but a lot is modern on the sporting front. I've never been on the site but past it many times,. It had a lot of investment with more modern structures around ten years ago when it changed to Academy status IIRC

So is it on economic, political bias /prejudice or cynism that leaves you in doubt duffer? :-(

Some quite bizarre events around this schools closure, allegedly down to demand bringing an end to single sex education for two schools while a new Finham mark 2 esconsed itself into the grim surroundings of an Industrial estate about a mile away, strange.

Maton is suggesting some modest housing but preferring to keep sporting and educational facilities on the site.
