If the council issued the original lease to ACL without a clause that any insolvency event reverts ownership back to the council some very serious questions need to be asked about their incompetence.

Not a fan of this points thing they're bringing in or the plan for day / night tests. The reason they aren't selling out tests is they've flooded the market. Late 80s / early 90s when I was a member at Warks you'd have 5 tests in the summer, 5 in the winter. Its non stop now.

Exactly, the Ricoh was too small when we played Chelsea in the cup and when we had the JPT final. Don't recall a clamour for it to be knocked down and a bigger stadium built.

A 25K stadium could easily mean 22,500 tickets for home fans, compared to 26,000 at the Ricoh. Not sure a difference of 3,500 equates to half the fanbase not being able to get tickets.
