Ah I must be mistaking you for someone during the Brexit wars. My bad. We need immigration. Even if birth rate was stable I want the best people here and I want brits to be able to fall in love with foreigners and make a life here. The last few years we’ve had a massive wave but frankly...

That’s what I’m saying too. You’re throwing a fit because we didn’t say JD

And you’re entitled to that opinion. I think he’s rash and often slow to react to danger, I think Thomas is too but has other qualities that mean if upgrade Kitching first. Also he’s got more room for improvement, but I worry he won’t fulfil his potential playing alongside Kitching.

But we can only criticise or want to upgrade one of them?

I literally just think we need to improve our defence. I think you’re all going to be very disappointed if you think all that’s standing between Thomas and Kitching being a colossal pairing is a new attacking left back. Jay Dasilva didn’t give Kitching the turning circle and game reading ability...

You’re the one that wanted Brexit you loon! I’ve been advocating immigration from nations of similar economic and cultural status. You IIRC called that racist.

You mean places where people want to live? I’m not sure what that quote is meant to prove other than developers main job and where most value is added is currently in navigating an overly complex and restrictive planning regime rather than building houses TBH. Are you supposed to be supporting...

By that logic they also came down Kitchings side. I’m not even sure how true that is tbh. The Dasilva derangement on here got truly ridiculous at points. Blaming your attacking left back for all your defensive woes seems a little unlikely. Our problem all season was we couldn’t defend our box...

At least he’s had a purple patch! And he’s been available for less than half the time Kitching has. Win % isn’t a player stat, @Evo1883 put up a chart recently that I can’t find now that shows how stupid it is to rank players by it.

This is really the issue. By definition the largest demographic will have the most political sway and the problem is the demographic is too large. Also old age is the one thing hopefully everyone has to look forward to and no one wants to vote away their own entitlement either. Easy to fuck over...

When you compare him to Rudi/EMC/Grimes. who were a similar fee or Thomas/MvE who were cheaper he’s not been great. For the money we paid and his age you’d expect a leader on the pitch who makes a significant difference not someone who loses his place to Louis Binks.

The market has no interest in profit is an interesting take. When I worked in that industry the bottleneck was sites through planning not developers.

Best just keep doing nothing until the perfect solution arrives.

Just came across this. Apparently from the MET in 2019 so not sure how applicable it still is, but gives an insight into why the police never seem to properly investigate a lot of crime IMO

Huh those last 14 years look surprisingly flat. Must be the immigrants. Can’t be the voting choices of half this thread.

When are we talking about? we’ve got the current Boriswave from Afghanistan Ukraine and HK schemes. There was the 2015/16 ish migrant crisis from Syria. There was the expansion of the EU. Or do you mean the base rate under all of these?

Excuses excuses. I know you’re obsessed with foreigners but the housing crisis started decades before any spike in immigration. Who said anything about expanding the size of the state? Just keeping pace would be fine. Where were these whines during the baby boom years or hell during the 1800s...

The two are separate. Like public service provision. We can build enough we choose not to and even if we don’t that’s not an excuse not to build any. Even if we robs total shutdown of immigration we’d still need millions of homes building.
