    SCG meeting questions

And one of those two is a bit of an anomaly. It was only a big crowd as it was the first game back. Get a 10K stadium and we'll be storming up the leagues.

Council Leader On Butts, CCFC, etc

Bradford nearly went bust due to renting their ground. In the end they threaten to break the lease and leave, moving in with the local rugby club if the lease wasn't renegotiated in their favour. The argument used was that if they moved out there would be no other use for the stadium. All...

    Coventry Blaze

Think someone at the top needs to get a grip on this. Having a league where only 2 or 3 teams can ice competitive teams is not going to do the sport any favours.

Council Leader On Butts, CCFC, etc

Tend to agree with that. If they didn't have every aspect of the deal checked over and over again to make sure they were safe they have been very stupid. Think the best SISU can hope for is that more details are made public which place CCC in a bad light. How much benefit that will be is...

Council Leader On Butts, CCFC, etc

This is the sort of statement they should have been releasing when the rent dispute first started.

    Butts park arena?

Drive to rugby station and park there.

    Butts park arena?

But look at what you're saying there. There was virtually no parking at HR itself so you relied on available parking in the surrounding area. Theres 8K parking spaces in the city centre, sure there would also be parking on business premises etc that could be used for example the old college is /...

    So the real Poll

Matchday costs is used as a catch all for a number of things. So while there are certain things we would indeed have to pay, others we wouldn't or would get at a much lower rate. For example before having all stands open and car park spaces were a couple of examples of things covered in matchday...

    SCG meeting questions

Does anyone actively want a small stadium with no possibility of expansion? Don't think so. More a case of being between a rock and a hard place.

    SCG meeting questions

And that's the key. In terms of ambitions of getting to the PL a 15K, 25K or 30K stadium won't realistically make a huge difference at this point. It would need big changes to the way the game is run to prevent clubs losing millions chasing promotion. Its not like we have lots of fantastic...

    So the real Poll

Key word there is currently. Also worth pointing out matchday costs have been bumped up which, to all intents and purposes, is the equivalent to a rent increase. Its still a hell of a lot less than we were paying before though.

    So the real Poll

Its not SISU negotiating. Its Chris Anderson on behalf of CCFC. How do other companies manage to work together when one is taking legal action? Not like its a situation unique to us. Where has this come from? Do you have information the rest of us don't?

CT article - 'Time to grow up and work together'

Personally I think it would be a sensible strategy to be pursuing more than one option. Its not the best starting point though is it? If they intended to have meaningful negotiations wouldn't they have agreed to at least some points to show willing and enable things to move forward. Just saying...

    SCG meeting questions

Don't know if anyone has asked the council from CCFC but I do know the flags were arranges by ACL not Wasps and they are allowed to use them for any Ricoh event. Unfortunately they decided to only promote one of the teams that play there.

    SCG meeting questions

Leeds sold out their 6K and had supporters in the home ends. Even if you don't count them that means 22,184 homes fans. A 25K with the minimum allocated to away supporters would mean that even for that game all the home fans that wanted to get a ticket would have.

    SCG meeting questions

This might have been one of the things on Anderson's list but can someone ask about primacy. FL regs require us to have primacy but we clearly don't as we've had games moved for other events at the Ricoh let alone rugby. I assume the FL have used their discretion to allow this but I can't...

CT article - 'Time to grow up and work together'

CA has already said they have said no on every point. If we had a half decent local media they would be straight on to Wasps asking them why they were hindering the clubs progress.

Another nice positive article in the CT

He's not having the best time trying to back up what he wrote in the article. Problem is there's still loads of people on the CT, Facebook and twitter saying he's spot on.
