If it was disallowed for a foul on the GK I give up.

I'm on fubo here, the Comms said foul on the GKz the ball was over the line right?

Mad, how does VAR conclude that it was a foul on the GK.., the defender with a two handed push in the back to force the West Ham player into the GK?

Match Thread Coventry City - Millwall FC Match Thread - Tuesday 20th Jan

I think this goes back last the last two games tbh, possibly back to December. I think fatigue may be a part of it possibly, we seem less busy off the ball and slow to get back when possession is lost. You really need to run hard in a system like this (or foul before the attack begins). And I'm...

Letting him cut inside was not a major concern, players wandering unmarked into the box unmarked in very dangerous positions more so... Since December we seem to have been found out a bit, no harm in tinkering to readdress the balance IMO

    Champions League 2025/6

Not the champions League (Europa) but what is Schmeichel doing not attempting to save Bolognas 2nd and how shut must the back up be that he is still starting?

    Champions League 2025/6

Agreed, the first 6 games feel like glorified friendlies which I think feeds into the rouge results you get. I say bring back unseeded knockout play!

I get all that butI think we're probably good enough to create dangerous situations without leaving ourselves wide open. We lack the pace and physicality to pull it of.

Match Thread Coventry City - Millwall FC Match Thread - Tuesday 20th Jan

I think our defence is generally fine individually, it's the openness in the middle of the park and our lack of pressure on the ball in certain situations that has been causing us problems. For a large portion of the game (the middle 60 odd minutes where we looked particularly shit) on Tuesday...

    Championship thread 25/26!

I think the strategy is fine enough shit to fling at a wall in the hope that it sticks. Annoying as Wrexham are their strategy is actually quite sensible, they've got solid Championship players albeit a bit over priced.

    O'Reilly booking for Man city

The offsides should be judged by a panel of 3, no lines, no tech just the freeze frame of when the ball was kicked. Give em 5 seconds to decide. Majority decision either way wins. Keeps the spirit of the rule and the human element there.

This. He was getting slated for not being on the end of a cross by Rice which was probably the only proper cross of the game. Otherwise it was Trossard or Saka taking an eternity to deliver a ball. He'd have been better of at Manchester Utd as mas as it sounds.

Not a suprise is it, most of that 11 is no where near top 4 quality, Amorim was actually doing OK on the quiet. Apparently he wanted Watkins over Sesko... You'd have to think Utd would be at least 5 points better off with Watkins up top, they certainly made a decent amount of chances this season.

    25/26 January Transfer Window

Are we in for one, this is a big hole IMO. We lack a destroyer (and pace/physicality).

    Transfer Rumour Romain Esse

    Wright penalty decision

Also, how many incredibly soft free kicks do you see given where a player "invites the contact" by placing themselves between the ball and the opponent then collapsing when they feel any contact.

Match Thread Charlton Athletic - Coventry City Match Thread - Thursday 1st Jan

These seem to be in free fall but I remember them being a handful at our place early doors, Nathan Jones teams are always horrible to play against, I think we need to go here and win the battle before winning the football match.
