I think he is more accustomed to that role, but yes i agree i think he can play further up in place of Shipley/Allen role, let Kelly and Sheaf behind him. He is a very accomplished player.

Goals against higher league opposition in FA Cup dont count Lol he had a pretty good games/goals or MOTM performances against Ipswich x 2, Fleetwood, Peterborough, Bristol Rovers and Birmingham last season. Fact is when he got a chance he performed. His mins per goal ratio is probably right...

I agree. As the season unfolds and once Hamer is back, i can see MR playing all 3 defensive midfielders (Kelly,Shaef, Hamer) keeping it solid/tight and trying to win midfield battle. at the expense of one of the attacking 3 likely Allen.

No news on Will Bapaga, been just over a month since his shoulder injury was hoping he would be on the comeback trail.

I doubt he will be in the squad anyway tommorow. His head wont be right and he probably wont have trained all week

Sad to see him go if rumours are true, his future definately lies elsewhere. Remember his crucial goal at Newport Away, as he does come on as Sub and scored a cracking finish to salvage a great point. After being soaked for 2 hours in that horrendous stand, made the long journey home bearable...
