That's the thing, isn't it. How many 20 goal a season strikers have we had in the last 20 years? Whoever comes in (or those already here) are on a hiding to nothing before they start.

FFS, there's 44 games still to go and our squad isn't complete yet. Wigan only had 4 points after 4 games last season and a goal difference of -1. They ended up 13 points clear of 6th place. I'm not saying we're going to do a Wigan but some people need to get a grip.

Glad someone else appreciated Smith. He was never amazing but there was something I liked about his wing play. I have to admit, I never thought he played for us in the PL. I thought he left before the PL era started.

And to be fair, there's more Blue than yellow/black.
